Our truly unique tent is on a working smallholding near the Lakes of Wilderness.... loved by paragliders, hikers, birders, mountain bikers and other outdoor enthusiasts. You can be at the sea or enjoy the many restaurants in Wilderness or Sedgefield (known for its beautiful market on Saturdays) within minutes. One of the best companies out there made our tent and we furnished it with much love and care - a one and only and cannot be copied.

You have access to 3 choices of bathrooms, some with outdoor showers and another with a bathtub boasting forest views. Use our clean and well equipped communal kitchen as well as braai areas, a bar, a plunge pool/hot tub, plus some beautiful walks into the forests and rivers.

Wonderwoods Private Nature Retreat offers a truly memorable stay in one of only three canvas Bell Tents scattered amongst scentful Eucalyptus trees, ferns and indigenous forest. Your 5m Bell Tent has a high quality extra length queen size bed with clean bedding and extra blankets. A few meters from your tent is your private compost toilet with clean water. Enjoy clean hot water in the amazing forest showers and a beautifully designed communal Forest Kitchen that is fully equipped.

Glamping Tent 2 @ Die Bosvarkie Calitzdorp

Relax with Klein Karoo hospitality on a small farm 6km out of Calitzdorp. The tent has 1 comfortable double bed with white linen (Can be converted to 2 single beds on request). Towels are provided. The tent is well equipped for self catering with a bar fridge and a gas cooker. Enjoy your own private braai area and cool off in our shared splash pool. We have a small pub and restaurant on the premises, which is normally only open Friday and Saturday evenings.
