This is a lovely home and provided our family an idyllic holiday weekend over Easter. Everything is as pictured. Howard is an extremely gracious host; always quick to respond. We just left this morning and my 12 year old is already asking when we can go bock. :)

Don't know where to get started on this review, there are just too many good things to say here. From the waterfall to the fire pit and The incredible decks overlooking the stream, this place is out of a storybook. Simply put, we had a wonderful stay at John's place! John and Kim are great host and very responsive. I can't say enough about how peaceful and tranquil the property is With more than enough room for any outdoor activities. Very, very satisfied! there's a few notes to add for anyone planning on booking this place... There's very limited cabinet space for keeping kitchen stock / groceries so we had to use counter space for storage but that was small potatoes. Also the road coming in is quite treacherous (at least from a city person's perspective)so be prepared to take extreme caution and avoid driving close to the shoulder. Not complaining and is absolutely worth the drive, Just take it nice and slow and you should be fine.

We loved staying at Jeremy’s place! It was so quiet and peaceful with lots of fun things to do for our little boy. The house was so clean and comfortable and the outside area was so much fun! Perfect place to get away and rest and enjoy as a family. We will be back!

Jason’s place was perfectly located to explore the wineries of the Yadkin Valley. The property is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking various farms and wineries and it was so peaceful. The place is well organized with plenty of room. Jason has really thought of everything to make this a phenomenal stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and associated views. We would definitely recommend and will return next time we are in the area.

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

Amazing cabin with a wonderful view. Perfect getaway for hiking in the NC Mountains. Would absolutely book again!

This was our first time at this Airbnb. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. This was exactly what we were looking for. Remote, peaceful and relaxing. Nothing but cattle farms on rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Amy was a perfect host and the fresh eggs and meats from their farm were amazing. We will definitely be back!

This was one of my favorite Airbnb. Not only was this a last minute booking and the hosts were very accommodating, it was clean and peaceful. The cabin is everything you could want in a mountain get away.

Ryan’s was just as described. It was cozy, very clean and had the basic foods( coffee, tea, sugar,condiment's etc). Kitchen was well equipped as were the bathrooms. For me the best part, was the views from the deck, the complete silence except for the sounds of nature, and the sun rises. The bird song first thing in the morning will enthrall you. In the evening the sound of the cattle lowing is very calming. The deer will pass through every now and then. For nature lovers it is a paradise. If you are looking for an urban setting this is not your place. If you are looking for tranquility, this a great place. Bring a good book, your favorite food and drink and enjoy

Great area, beautiful house with great amenities. Maybe a few more kitchen pans but we made do. Good for nature buffs who like to hike and saw frequent wild life. 4WD is suggested for a reason, my MKX made it fine was also a rainy week.

All I can say is wow! This home is the perfect vacation spot!! A ton of privacy, very clean and plenty of yard for your fur baby to run around! We saw so much wildlife which was really exciting! The blackstone griddle was perfect for cooking breakfast and dinners! Plenty of towels to enjoy many soaks in the hot tub and enough for showering. I will absolutely rent here again as it is perfect! About a 25 minute trip to Mt. Airy which has all of your restaurant and grocery needs. thank you Balager for sharing such a incredible getaway! We cannot wait to return!

Scott is an exceptional host and The Grove is a treasure find !!! From the cozy, comfortable and private cabin to the beautiful surroundings of nature trails, wildlife, and magical star gazing , this is our all time favorite Airbnb ! We have stayed here multiple times each year for the past 5 years and highly recommend The Grove !!!

Loved the , big house, big kitchen, going to the winery right there was really cool and seeing all the grape vines (although they were brown due to being winter of course) had a nice area for kids and dogs too play. Had a fire pit and they had a bunch of camping chairs to use which was cool. Kitchen stocked with almost all the cookware you’d need. Great sta for a great price

From the welcoming lanterns on the porch, to the blankets already situated in all the cozy chairs and rockers, to the robes ready for the hot tub, everything was ready to start relaxing from the moment of arriving. The wine, cold drinks, a variety of snacks, and candy dishes were the most abundant I’ve seen in all of my Airbnb experiences. There were friendly family dogs for canine company (as desired!). We could have stayed a week in order to fully enjoy all of the offerings. We really hope to get back - it really was perfect!

The creek and its sounds will put a smile on your face and put you to sleep! What a lovely place we enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys and deer. The cabin was very comfortable and perfect for our needs.

This cabin was perfect for the 6 of us. It was very clean and cozy. It had absolutely everything we needed. There were lots of games to keep the teenagers entertained. Darts, cornhole, giant Connect Four, Giant Jenga and many more. Beautiful, spacious yard with a nice big fire pit. The Kelley’s even supplied us with everything to make smores. We absolutely loved it! I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This was exactly what I needed. The cabin was easy to find for how peaceful it was. It is not too far from town so making stops at local stores and restaurants was a quick trip up the road. Unfortunately the blue ridge parkway was closed during our visit but I was shocked to see when leaving the property we were only two right turns from it. It is in such a great location, tucked away but not too far from everything. The cabin itself was just as the pictures showed, there was plenty of space to stretch out in between our planned activities. You can tell the cabin was well maintained and kept clean. The recommendations left on the counter in the kitchen for local restaurants served us well, as well as the maps left us in a great spot for choosing our daily adventures! All in all when I plan on coming back up to the area I will definitely be checking here to see if the cabin is available again so that I know I have somewhere safe, secure, and private in the area to rest my head.

Always a great stay at Teena’s cabins

Me and my wife stayed at the cabin and did some hiking in the area. The cabin had a beautiful view of the sunset, and we had a good time hanging out by the campfire and seeing all the stars. Right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the place was immaculate and surrounded by natural beauty. Definitely recommend for a quiet retreat. The cabin is so old but well kept. It felt a bit like time traveling and living in the past, in the best way.

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

Setting was beautiful! Loved the hot tub on the porch and the views were stunning. Host was very nice, breakfast was awesome each morning, enjoyed the privacy. I would return for another stay anytime

We had a great weekend at this beautiful home. It was super private and peaceful. Our dogs loved being able to run around.

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

This home was lovely- in a very peaceful location, overlooking the Yadkin River. It had everything we needed and had plenty of room both inside and out. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch for coffee in the morning, and wine and dinner in the evenings. The hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring the Yadkin Valley area. Communication was great with William. Would definitely recommend this home!
