Wander through the French Quarter from a Treme Shotgun Home

Unwind on the secluded back porch, or sip iced tea on the shaded front veranda of this updated, Victorian-era shotgun home. Statement period details include parlor doors, 11-foot ceilings, fireplaces, wood paneling, and floor-to-ceiling windows. You'll enjoy twelve foot ceilings with ceiling fans, large windows with working shutters, gorgeous woodwork including a fireplace in every room (including bathrooms) and the best of furnishings and art. You will be given the access code to keys with your reservation. The front porch, laundry room and back yard are shared. The remainder is private. You can unlock the adjoining interior door if you rent both sides. Feel free to text or call at anytime to reach me. The house is in the heart of the oldest part of the famous Treme neighborhood, just four blocks from the French Quarter and the street car line. Location, location, location ... bike rentals in the French Quarter (4 blocks) ... bike lanes on Rampart (4 blocks) and Esplanade (1 block) ... new streetcar line on Rampart ... connecting you to any historic neighborhood or park WITHOUT GETTING IN A CAR. Of course there's Uber and Lift. Free street parking. All beds and furnishings are brand new. We're stocked to the brim with almost anything you can think of. Beautiful furnished apartment on the second floor of a historic Creole Townhouse built in 1844 in the heart of the Marigny -- New Orleans coolest neighborhood right next to the French Quarter. My home is walking distance to great bars and restaurants but on a quiet residential street so you're assured a good night's sleep when you're here. Awesome house in the best part of New Orleans! Great for a romantic stay or a fun adventure. This historic Victorian shotgun house is newly renovated inside. Three blocks from our favorite stretch of Magazine Street, but in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. An easy walk to great food and shopping or a quick Uber/Lyft to the French Quarter. Walk to Commander's Palace in the Garden District or venture down to great Breweries just a couple blocks away.

"B" 1 BD Side Balcony-St Charles Ave-Garden Dist

High ceilings with intricate plaster detail are featured in an antebellum mansion home built in 1851 which sits right in front of the streetcar/trolley stop. A great experience to be right there on "the Avenue" under the 250 year old oak trees. You can take our self guided walking tour through the Garden District and see one home after another built in 1800's, with names of architect (if known), year built and who lived there.
