We enjoyed the stay, as Floridians were not quite used to mountain driving so it took a bit longer to get to and from than we had thought

The house was wonderful. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Our family loved how peaceful it was.

Our stay at the lakefront home was wonderful! The home is beautiful and we loved all of the decor. The kitchen was well stocked, which we really appreciated. Being on the lake was fun, the view was great and we even caught some fish off the dock!

This house has it all. We had a mix of sunshine and rain during our stay, but that didn't stop this house from entertaining. Everything was set up well, instructions were clear and the host had great communication. Absolutely zero complaints and hope to revisit sometime

The house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean and well stocked. Easy to get in and even smelled great. The kitchen was equipped with EVERY utensil we possibly needed. We were only able to use the paddle boards on our last day due to weather but they were great when we did. Also enjoyed a campfire and saw a million stars on clear nights. Overall we loved the place and felt right at home.

I will definitely be staying at this house if we come up here again, very comfortable, clean, peaceful. Every morning we had deer in the yard. Such a great place!

We had never been to the area but when we saw the photos of the back porch overlooking the lake, we knew we found our spot. A very spacious house, everyone has a place to relax and has to come together as a family. We even had a chance to host our friends for dinner one night, with enough space for everyone. If you are looking for a nice, quiet spot where relaxing is a priority, this is the place. It's also a great place to decompress after dealing with the chaos that is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! LOL. I will say that you are at least 15-30 minutes from most places so if driving is not your thing, plan ahead for supplies. When we come back to this area, we will be considering this property again!

Great place with easy access to lake! Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Super responsive host and very accommodating. We will be back.

This was such a lovely Airbnb! Squeaky clean, walkable to beautiful Lake Junaluska and just a few minutes to hiking and downtown Waynesville. You can really tell Steve and Susie want their guests to have a five star stay with so many thoughtful touches such as bottled water, coffee, tea, half and half, biscotti’s card games and an abundance of books and guides about the area. There was a private table and chairs outside for a glass of wine or a meal which we loved and the bed was so comfortable. We visit this area often and we are so glad we have found our home away from home in Waynesville. Thank you Steve and Susie for hosting us! Blessings, Steve and Amy

Beautiful place on the lake I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Dawn was an amazing host and I’ll definitely be back this summer.

Would definitely come back for another stay here. Susan was extremely accommodating and provided us with snack and drinks upon arrival. Gorgeous neighborhood and view from the back porch of the lake. Super clean and comfortable space.

Cheryl was there to greet us and made us feel so welcome. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and had everything we could have possibly needed. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

By far the best airbnb host we’ve ever had super fast to respond to questions and the accommodations were better than described. Beds were absolutely marvelous woke up every morning feeling better than new. This airbnb is a nature lovers dream. Highly recommend Sandy and the unit

logement bien situé, endroit calme et paisible au bord du lac Junaluska. Le lac est très beau entouré de montagnes. Waynesville est à côté avec tous les magasins nécessaires, l'accès à la blueridge parkway est à quelques minutes , parfait pour profiter de la vue sur les montagnes. Cherokee n'est pas loin et c'est appréciable de pouvoir rencontrer une nouvelle culture non européenne dans ce pays. le logement est propre et bien équipé, la terrasse est clairement un point positif. Le jardin est très beau avec beaucoup de fleurs. C'est un bon travail. Carolyn et son mari sont très gentils et très réactifs. Le dialogue est facile et les explications sont claires. J'espère revenir en automne afin de voir les couleurs de la forêt.

This was a perfect location - a couple friends and I just needed a quiet place to stay for a few days while in the area to do some fishing on nearby lakes. Connie's place is serene, beautiful, and very close to town while enjoying the benefits of being countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and the property is really nicely taken care of!

We loved our stay here! The AirBnB is small and quaint, but has everything you could need. It was clean and had some additional games and puzzles for entertainment too. We loved spending time on the dock enjoying the views and nature. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the dock, as they show, but they are safe and the views from above at the house paired with the dock on the water were worth it.

We spent Easter weekend here. As we drove in the wild azaleas and dogwoods were blooming, and everything afterwards was just as beautiful and peaceful. My teenagers loved kayaking and my daughter liked the pond so well she slept on the daybed on the porch. I appreciated the feather pillows and reverse osmosis water. Attention has been paid to every detail. I called my Nana to show her the antique desks. My small children enjoyed the toys and my middle son using the pully bucket on the porch. My daughter celebrated a birthday over our stay, more movie guests showed up than expected and I just couldn't turn these kids away. Our hosts were so kind. They of course charged a little extra as was clearly understood via the contract, they were very understanding and polite. The lock to the boat seems to be jamed, the downstairs fireplace is currently non operational, and I'm not sure I'll get back a thumb drive I forgot, but this family has worked hard to create really special place. Five star

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. My family of four stayed here with our dog and had a terrific time. We are already talking about when we can come back! Larry was very helpful and super responsive to our questions. The property is spotless and adorable yet modern. We enjoyed every convenience and the cutest coffee bar inside!

Absolutely loved this place ! Well decorated and had everything we needed . Neighbors were very friendly ! The location is great and convenient to plenty of shopping / restaurants etc . The only regret is we didn’t stay longer :)

This cabin is exactly as described. It looks just like the pictures and the water level of the lake was exactly what they described. This get-a-way was exactly what I needed, kayaks, hammocks, peace and quiet. Driveway is a little tricky/ steep. I would definitely stay here again.

debbie's place is truly a home away from home! The lakefront property is relaxing and peaceful. Would love to stay again if we ever visit the area.

Jeffreys lakehouse was absolutely incredible. The view is perfect and we had a wonderful time out on the lake. Would highly recommend!

Had the best time at Reah’s amazing lake home. The description of the house is spot on. Perfect location for a getaway or small family retreat. Can’t wait to come back and visit. Mark
