Several family owned businesses in Okarito offer walking and boating tours to see the beautiful White Heron and other bird life, including the Kiwi.

Misty Peaks Guesthouse has 5 ensuite bedrooms with super King size beds (all beds can be spilt into singles if required please advise in advance) and 1 room is a twin that has a separate bathroom. From Misty peaks you will be able to see Rainforest covered hills and Mt cook and Mt Tasman from your kitchen window and also from 3 of the bedrooms. All bedrooms have heating and all beds are fitted with electric blankets.
