Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

Welcome to the Chalet at Black Water Junction! This stylish one bedroom A-frame cabin features spiral stairs, natural wood finishes, huge glass windows with a spacious deck with private gorgeous views, a hot tub with unlimited star gazing above! If you are like myself and enjoy movies and tv, we have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus for all of our guests on both of the TV’s. We give you the chance to get away from it all, and enjoy the company of many of our loving farm animals.

Private log home on 6 acres on Smith River in the foothills of Blue Ridge Mountains. A great place to relax and enjoy nature with the comfort of home. Sleeps 6+ comfortable with two large decks to enjoy rain or shine while you listen to the flowing waters of the Smith River. Gated 300+ acres community, go for long walks, fish in river, float down the river or just sit on the deck and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Pool table, air hockey, and corn hole keeps the kids busy.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.
