Victoria's place in Rangeley is outstanding. The layout of the house is great, has everything you could need, is well decorated with appealing architecture and a spectacular view of the lake from above. Easy to get to, was a perfect location for our work trip in the area. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood within a sizable nature preserve, with a pleasant walk to the common lake access.

We had a great stay in the lake cottage! It is perfect for kids to look for tree frogs and salamanders in the woods, find pretty rocks snorkeling, warm up by the fire after and play games after dinner. I was worried about 1 bathroom for 8 people, but it never became an issue. Scapes cafe is only 5 minutes away and they have a lot of breakfast/lunch options (cheddar biscuits are a must have!) Be careful on the deck, it can be a little slippery when wet, bring a sharp knife if you plan on a lot of cooking and you’ll have the best time!

Steven went above and beyond to make my family’s stay enjoyable. Upon an accidental overbook Steven refunded us the days and extra for his mistake. He also went out of his way to gift us some drinks since I had mentioned it was my birthday weekend. He was very happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, it was a nice stay and his home was beautiful.

This is such a perfect place. Very clean, has everything you need. Close to the restaurants and grocery store in downtown Rangeley and a quick easy drive to Saddleback Heather really thought of all the little things like the bedding and the towels are such high-quality. The heater keeps the place cozy. The shower has excellent pressure and gets really hot I highly recommend this VRBO. It’s also an excellent value!

We had an amazing stay! The house is just gorgeous and the views are amazing!! Our kids enjoyed the one immensely and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise!

Gail's cottage was a true gem of a find! She and Salinan, her co-manager, were excellent communicators and always answered our questions quickly. The cottage is extremely comfortable, well-kitted out with EVERYTHING one could need for a comfortable stay, and located in a cute cottage community that is directly on Flagstaff Lake. We loved walking down to the shared beach and sitting in the sun each day for a bit, where the view of the mountains is spectacular. We would have taken out the kayaks and used the outdoor fire pit but we were busy hiking locally each day...we'll get to that next time because we already plan to visit again next fall. This would be a great summer vacation spot, too! All in all, a terrific week thanks to beautiful and cozy accommodations (the beds are soooo comfy), fantastic scenery in the neighborhood, great local hiking and sporting activities (my husband bird hunts and he said it was "bird hunting paradise"), and great hosts.

We had been looking for a private vacation spot on a lake that would accommodate our intergenerational family of 8 and 2 pets for a few years. Sweetwater Cottage was worth the wait! The long backyard and raised screened in porch made for exquisite views of the sunsets while our kids and dogs played. Quiet lake and neighbors made for an equally perfect spot for early morning fishing and afternoon naps while listening to the loons. We caught several bass, lake trout and even a landlocked salmon out on our flat bottom boat, and the kids were endlessly entertained by catching sunfish off of the dock. The provided paddleboards were a favorite. We even paddled out to the small island where we got up close to a Bald Eagle's nest and took turns jumping off the small wooden platform on a rope swing. The house was beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds and a sectional couch that fit our whole family for game nights. Lots of great memories and photos made. We can't wait to return!

Once again and for the sixth or seventh year we went back to Kai's place with our friends. Always a joy to spend time on David Pond. Can't say enough about it !!! Super clean,all the amenities we need, great view and Kai attentive as usual. We will be back next year Kai,thank you. Marilyn & Tom

This place was amazing! Whether it was sunny or raining out, there were many things to enjoy. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, the game room, Corn hole and hot tub so much! Troy always answered our text quickly and came over to help if we needed it. The house was equipped with everything , from fun things to do to relaxation when the day was done. We loved their local Italian restaurant Casilaos, their food and hospitality were both wonderful. We are definitely going to book again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

What a peaceful gem! We booked this at the last minute and we're so happy we did. It's amazingly quiet--we heard loons but not much else. We loved that the lake doesn't allow motorized watercraft. This is definitely a Maine camp--simple, no frills, and that's what makes it great.

Kelly was very fast in responding to our questions! The cabin was perfect for the rainy weekend that we had! The kayaks were a hit with the kids!

Great stay! The place was well stocked, clean and just as advertised. Such a great location near the river with a fire pit. We really enjoyed the screened in porch.

Cute cabin on the lake. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped to cook. Hot tub was hot when we got there and everything was ready to go. Check in/out were super easy. Provided a coffee/tea bar. Overall felt very welcoming with a cozy feel

Great spot near Mt blue pond. Has mostly everything you need at the shack. I would have packed lighter if I knew it was fully stocked. But it’s good to know for next time. There are neighbors on one side divided by a huge fence. Shack was cozy, clean and peaceful. It was so nice of Alexandra to let us use the kayak! It was awesome! Kids had a blast!

The cabin was clean and well appointed. The area is very peaceful, and we enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next year.

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Great spot. cute house. beautiful location by the river. Nichole is a super host. If using as a base camp for snowmobiles it is almost a mile of road riding and neighbors walking or even driving by don't seem pleased.

We had a great family ski trip. The house was great with many great amenities. The view is great, we even saw a moose while drinking our morning coffee. Will definatly be back.

Absolutely beautiful location. Views of the lake from every window make the cozy spot feel more spacious. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the water, napping on the hammock, dining on the porch or watching the hummingbirds. Incredibly private lot that was so quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked with anything you could need. Games, first aid and staple spices. Use of the Canoe and paddleboard added lots of fun and fires at night to round off a perfect camp stay. So glad we found this beautiful gem!

We had a great week at this lovely cottage! All the amenities we needed to enjoy time right by the water. Loved the comfortable beds and living room furniture…plenty of space to sprawl out even for a relatively small cabin. And I got what I needed most: kayaking and loons. We had a great week!
