The Anderson House

Experience the charm of Southern Illinois in the peaceful comfort of The Anderson House, a newly renovated 2-bed, 2-bath home with roots dating back to 1932. Featuring a full kitchen, an open floor plan, and inviting outdoor spaces, The Anderson House offers a perfect retreat for relaxation or exploration. A short walk across the grounds leads to a small coffee roastery, farmland, and a state forestry park, where guests can immerse themselves in outdoor activities or enjoy a delicious coffee.

Tiny Cottage of Whittington

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

LilyPad-pondside cabin, kayaks, trail, country

Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes use of kayaks, fishing poles for the catch & release pond, and a walking trail. Bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood. PLEASE NOTE: its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin sized foam couch sleeper. We don't allow pets.

Address: 8324 Macedonia Rd, Macedonia, IL 62860. Our place is a 40x64 Pole Barn House. The living quarters are 1280 sq ft, w/attached garage. Patio/deck and small pond, (not stocked). The area is rural and quiet. The property is not fully fenced in. SORRY NO CATS Dog Friendly - Dog should be house trained, no fleas, and up to date on all vacations. We also ask for honesty, in letting us know if you are bring a pet. Our area is Close several popular lakes, hunting areas, and wineries

Come check out the Recently added Fire 🔥 pit and Patio! Come relax with the whole family at this peaceful, country setting…10 minutes from Rend Lake & 10 minutes from town. Enjoy the cozy inside or the patio outside and watch the wildlife. Cook a savory meal in the kitchen or grill those yummy steaks or burgers on the grill outside... Suitable for families or a romantic getaway. The outside of property is a work in progress, but we’ll usable. Excuse the reconstruction!

Black Bear Cabin, Game Room and Boat Parking

Come stay at Black Bear Cabin located just 10 miles from Rend Lake and just minutes from Benton County Club. We have covered parking for your boats and cars. With plenty of room for the family and lot of room for parking. We have Lots of things to do at the cabin. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We allow a dog for a fee of$40 per stay. If a pet is brought on the property without paying the fee an additional $100 will be added to your stay.

Rend Lake Retreat

Come enjoy your own space, private pool in summer, fire pit for fall & winter, country views, less than a mile from the lake marina and nearby year-round activities. Plenty of parking spaces! What makes this place special is comfy beds and the gathering potential to have everyone under one roof while being next to something for everyone: kayaking, beaches, boat ramps, parks, hiking, wildlife photography, hunting, fishing, golf, Du Quoin rodeo, and plenty of food options.

"Quiet And Secluded Country Setting" BIG OAKS

We have a 2000 sq. ft. home located on 3 acres in a very country setting. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, master bed room has queen size bed, second bedroom has full size bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Large master bath with large soaking tub and shower. Spacious kitchen is set up to cook if you like, . The back porch over looks the woods and fields with lots of deer siting. Our location is very quit and peaceful. also there is a garage you have access to.

Fishing, hunting, & lake life in a semi-rural area, This is the perfect setting, offering 3 bedrooms, sunroom, & outdoor living space in a country setting. Rend Lake is perfect for water sports, hunting & fishing, or a beautiful hike! We are 5 minutes from Benton, 10 min from Rend Lake, 30 min from an urban area, & 1 hr from Wine Trails. In addition, Hill House has a covered barn that will hold two boats with electricity to charge batteries!

This house was in my husband's family. His mother, Marie, moved in when she was 6 months old in 1917. This house holds a lot of great memories for me! A perfect stay for family reunions, homecomings and vacations! We have a complete kitchen, one and a half baths and 3 bedrooms to make your stay comfortable and access to the internet and TV.
