Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Private property on our farm with many amenities, including Wi-Fi, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gym available. Very relaxing place!

Off Grid Mountain Cabin Getaway Near Hanging Rock!

⭐️PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!⭐️ Take a break, where nature & peace surrounds you. Build a fire, watch the wildlife, walk to the creek, or relax! Limited power provided by solar. There is heat in the cabin! Outdoor shower winterized(not available until April 15th and we have rain)Outhouse bathroom, charcoal grill, & bistro table that provides a wonderful place to unwind! No running water inside, 5gallon jug provided. (No AC/full power without generator. Bring your own or rent one for a small fee)

Hideaway Log Cabin

Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

Kibler Valley Cabin

Our cabin is located in the picturesque Kibler Valley just over the Virginia state line. It is equidistant from Mt Airy, NC and Stuart, VA. It is located directly on the Dan River, just down the mountain from it's headwaters. The property sits 4 miles down a 6.5 mile dead-end road. At the end of the road is a hydro-electric power plant. During the summer months Northbrook releases water from the dam on week-ends, depending on resevior levels, which makes for fantastic kayaking and tubing.

Martin's Blueberry Hill Cabin

Built in 1984, over 300 blueberry bushes add to the beautiful view of Bull Mountain. KING bed. Window unit AC for the warm summer months. Gas log fireplace for the winter. Smart TV & WIFI will keep you connected while you enjoy the quiet. Everything you need to enjoy cooking & fun local favorites. Gazebo with table for outdoor dining. Fire pit for the colder nights! 15 min from the Blue Ridge Pkwy, 30 min from Martinsville Speedway, 30 min to Hanging Rock, 40 min to Floyd & more.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

Stony Knoll Vineyards Wine Lodge

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. A full sized living room with fireplace and TV. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch or listen to the rain hit the country tin roof.

Foot Hill Farms II Hanging Rock

Unplug and reconnect in this private country home with oak, cedar and pine throughout. Enjoy a full modern kitchen, with open concept to living room. Main floor has two bedrooms and 1 bath with large shower. Downstairs is a pool table room, 3rd bedroom and full bath. Relax on wrap around porch with rockers and swing. Enjoy the fire pit, wood provided. Hang up the hammock and relax. 10 min. drive to Hanging Rock State Park and 20 mins. to Pilot Mtn. State Park.

Country View Getaway

This home is a perfect central location between both the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Sauratown Mountains. Only 15 miles from Hanging Rock. Only 2.8 miles from Pilot Mountain State Park's Grindstone Trail. Jolo Winery is just 4 minutes away and 14 minutes from Shelton Vineyards. Located on a 40+ acre farm, there are plenty of areas to explore, from the donkeys at the stable to multiple breathtaking views throughout the property.
