Blue Room at the Homestead on 60 acre farm.

The Blue Room is located in the upstairs floor of my home (stairs required). The first story is where I live, which offers common areas (Kitchen, TV room, & Den sitting areas). Continental Breakfast is free. Full breakfast is an additional fee (if I'm available, your choice). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, & families (with kids 7+, but not babies). The house is located on a very picturesque 60-acre farm (cows, chickens, donkeys & a mule). Small desk/chair

- Beautifully decorated House with Eclectic Arts and Antiques. - Guests can make their own coffee, tea, oatmeal breakfast, etc. - There are no TVs in the house. - Well established, very safe, high-end neighborhood. - 1 min walk to nearby City Park. - 5 min to Wake Forest Univ, Reynolda Gardens/Museum & SECCA. - 5-6 min to Baptist & Novant Hospitals. - Very close to many restaurants and shops. - 7 min to Downtown and nightlife. - 10 min to Innovation Quarter. - 12 min to Old Salem/ Salem College.

Blue Ridge Room - Rockford Inn - Dobson area

You will love the Rockford Blue Ridge Room for its historic charm, privacy, peace and quiet, tall oak trees, and close proximity to four wineries within 5 minutes. The Blue Ridge Room is located in the front wing of the Rockford Inn…that is also available to rent as a 3-bedroom guest house. Since this is a guest house now, there is no breakfast served. This beautifully decorated room features a comfortable queen sleigh bed, WIFI, cable TV, a private bathroom and access to the entire main house.

Spacious rooms in historic 100+ yr old home

We are conveniently situated just a few minutes drive from the highway, several colleges, Old Salem, great restaurants, bakeries & galleries downtown. You’ll really love my home if you have an appreciation or nostalgia for vintage, as well as the ambiance of gardens & old houses with interesting architectural details. The four poster bed is a family heirloom with a full sized pillow top Sealy Posturepedic mattress, 620 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, velvet blanket & downy comforter.
