Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

We had a really lovely stay at Carol’s shepherd’s hut. It was cosy and in such an idyllic location where we were able to fully wind down and relax for our stay. The added touches made a difference and Carol was proactive in her communication which was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

We loved our stay on the shepherds hut, which looked and felt new, and was beautifully finished. Fantastic location, great for local walks (we walked to The Open Ditch pub) and amazing views from the bed & seating area. Very accommodating hosts, super helpful and responsive. If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

Had a lovely night here, private and peaceful. Mark greeted us and we asked for some more firewood which he got straight away and lovely walks nearby.

Lovely place to spend a few days in peace in quiet. The hot tub was amazing and the hosts are very friendly. The hut is in close proximity to the Wye Valley, which is a great place to explore.

What a stunning hut with beautiful views! The farm is breath taking! The hut has everything you need and the bed is super cozy. Their info book with the walking trails around the area was super helpful if you don't know where to start. As well as nearby cafes, restaurants and shops. It was lovely to have an enclosed area for our pooch Ripley to have a wonder and explore as well. We can thank Laura enough for a perfect get away! My partner and I (and our dog!) spent the Easter long weekend in this beautiful shepherds hut located on the canal! It was absolutely perfect. The hut was equipped with everything we needed. There were so many beautiful sights and hikes we could visit from the hut, not to mention the Osprey that had just nested nearby! The yard was perfect for our dog as it’s all fenced in and had plenty of room for him to roam. Bathrooms were spotless with amazing water pressure. We highly recommend the three Horsehoes Inn, which is just a short drive away and had amazing food and atmosphere. We couldn’t recommend this shepherds hut anymore! Big thank you to Emma who was super responsive and wonderful. We can’t wait to come back ☺️

Me and my partner stayed for a couples night away and the hut was perfect. Very clean and just beautiful. The hot tub was lovely Location is very private The host was brilliant, messaging me keeping up to date with everything Lovely welcoming gifts We are definitely coming back but next time 2 nights instead of 1. The Shepherd's Hut has everything you need for luxury camping! Lovely interior with dreamy touches such as sash windows, high-quality bedding, and enamelware. Well designed and clear handbook, and friendly and helpful hosts. We camped in style, cooked outdoors on the butane camping stove, provided, and roasted marshmallows (also provided) at night over the fire pit . It was also classy touch having your own WC and shower allotted to Shepherd's Hut. Fantastic location, 5 minute shuffle to a gravel beach on the banks of the River Wye, great for canoeists or just lazing around watching the swans.

Beautiful weekend at Anne’s place! Perfect location to be able to go to Bristol but also being surrounded by peaceful countryside and plenty of walks and lovely pubs close by too! The hot tub and outdoor area was the perfect addition!

What a lovely tranquil spot with a pretty garden and stream and a lovely outside space to relax. The hut is very nice, a great space and our host was very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place and may well return for a longer stay as so much to explore in the area.

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

I brought my wife here for a birthday surprise, Sharon put up some lovely birthday banners, she went above and beyond for us. The place was spotlessly clean and has everything you need for your stay. Us & the dog had the most amazing weekend, it really is a special place, we will most definitely be returning😊

Probably the most luxurious and beautifully decorated shepherd's hut me and my partner had the pleasure of staying at. Cherry was a great host, we felt like we had the privacy we needed and the much needed getaway from the city, surrounded by Wales countryside beauty and quietness.

Could not recommend this place more ! We had an incredible stay which exceeded our expectations. The hut is privately set with all the amenities; super clean, plenty of crockery and utensils, a lovely welcome hamper with some essentials, great outdoor set up to enjoy a bbq and fire pit. Dilly was a perfect host and was attentive to our queries. Looking forward to returning one day.

We had the most beautiful getaway at 'the Burford' hut, the attention to detail no matter how small was noticed and appreciated. The breakfast hamper was amazing, full of treats and the welcome hamper was a wonderful touch. We cannot wait to book our next visit. Thank you so much! X
