Hilltop Hideaway is a perfect romantic getaway set in the tranquil Forest of Dean. Newly converted, bedroom, shower room and an open plan kitchen/lounge. There are slide opening doors that lead onto the decking, with views towards The Wye Valley and beyond. The Hideaway offers a perfect romantic place to unwind and relax in the peaceful countryside. 17th Century cottage in the heart of Chepstow, close to Offa's Dyke & the Wye Valley. Tucked down a little cobbled street in the town centre, it’s a small but perfectly formed cottage ideal for a couple or a young family. There’s a secret door leading to the second bedroom, where you’ll even get a glimpse of Chepstow Castle from the window. It’s an ideal base for weddings at St Tewdrics (we’ve even hosted the bride and groom!) or for walking and cycling in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.

Also an absolute haven for fun seekers with one of the UK’s best cycle trails and downhill mountain bike course, along with abseiling, caving and canoeing. For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pub, The Ostrich Inn and the local town. We are close to all amenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

Boasting old floorboards, original beams and quirky features, this historical semi-detached cottage allows guests to switch off from the outside world. The location benefits from easy access to countryside walks but it's also just a few minutes walk from charming shops, cafés and country pubs. Our first guests used the space as an escape to write their scripts and novels and we encourage all guests to relish in the romance of village living and explore their creativity.

Monmouth, Forest of Dean, Bristol, Bath and Cardiff are close enough for day visits. Whatever season you prefer, it's a wonderful place to recharge your batteries and connect with nature.
