"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

Wonga - A secluded oasis in the heart of Parkes

Wonga has been our beautiful home for the past 7 years and while we are off on an adventure we are offering it for others to enjoy. Built in 1860, it was one of the original homes in the area. Established gardens surround the house. Covering nearly 6000m2, there is plenty of space to walk around with a glass of champagne in hand and enjoy the garden no matter what time of year. The pool area is a delight and will provide many hours of entertainment from November through April.

The Stables Farmhouse

Come and enjoy a peaceful stay on a scenic working farm that is private yet close to local services. We are 25 minutes from Parkes, 35 minutes from Forbes, 30 minutes to Canowindra and 1 hour from Orange. We have a 4 bedroom house set in a beautiful garden that also features a swimming pool. As of March 2023 we have Starlink internet offering unlimited wifi. There is also one smart tv.
