We absolutely loved our stay! Perfect for some down time! Beautiful landscape to sit out on the porch and enjoy from the swing bed! Definitely will be returning this summer with our grands to enjoy fishing and swimming in the pond!

We loved our stay at Hillside Hideaway. Pat was a great host. We will be going back and recommend this location to our friends.

We had a great time staying here. It was the perfect setting to convene three households with small children. The open floorplan was great to let the kids run around. Also, they loved the bunkbeds! The game room in the basement gave us all something to do during one day of bad weather. The view from the deck out onto the lake is picturesque. Rodney and Company were incredible hosts. Very responsive. Also, the home was delivered to us in immaculate condition. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful lake house! We hope to come back next year!

WOW!! We spent the most amazing Labor Day Weekend with friends at Robin's home! We have rented several lake-front properties, and this was by far one of our favorites. Robin truly left no stone unturned when prepping for our stay. She had snacks available, fresh donuts (yum!), and if you forgot anything for the bath no worries! Her home was welcoming and we were very comfortable during our stay. We had planned to head to a couple of Radford restaurants to eat for a few meals, but once we arrived we didn't leave. The kitchen was very well equipped (my husband should have been a chef and loved the kitchen!) and it had some terrific extras (loved the warming tray above the stove!) The view is absolutely amazing, and her home is located in a very peaceful location on Claytor Lake. The sunsets were breathtaking! Robin was quick to respond to any questions I had as well. We all agreed that we will absolutely be returning! Thank you, Robin, for a memorable weekend!!

Great value for a two bedroom, fully equipped space with lake access. The furniture could be more comfortable, but overall we were pleased with the space. The kitchen was quite well-stocked; we appreciated having a slow cooker to make our dinners while we enjoyed the lake. Being able to do laundry was also a wonderful plus. We also enjoyed using the kayak and air pump provided so we didn’t have to pack ours.

Talk about an airbnb that delivers! We stay at many airbnbs throughout the country and found Lazy Daze to be perfect on every level. The attention to detail -- in the choices of furnishings, kitchen appliances, linens, lighting, furniture, grill, accessories, decor, speaker systems, etc. -- was so notable. Nothing was overlooked. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for all the best appliances, cookware, utensils, gadgets, knives, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens super soft. The house was pristine in terms of cleanliness. The spaces for hanging out were well furnished and thoughtful - especially the porch. Well done, Tim and Melissa! And, thank you.

We stayed here at the Hokie Home a second time and loved it even more than the first! It is located on a very peaceful section of the lake and we spent many delightful hours lounging on the top story of the dock. We also enjoyed eating on the decks and are grateful to have found a place that is dog friendly and has room for the whole family.

Charming and secluded cabin with beautiful views! Was comfortable and cozy. Lindsay was so helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our weekend stay!
