Green Valley Homestead is a stylish holiday house in a quiet rural setting on Flinders Island. The cottage is situated on a productive sheep and cattle property, five minutes’ drive to the township of Whitemark. Green Valley is on the doorstep of some of the most spectacular beaches and walking tracks on Flinders including Trousers Point and Fotheringate Bay. If you love to hike then take the Mt Strzelecki challenge – a 756-metre uphill climb that offers stunning views over Bass Strait.

You’ll love Walden because of the stunning location, privacy and closeness to nature. It's ideal for couples, families, or even two families sharing and is only a 15 minute drive from Whitemark.

As a Land For Wildlife property, if you are not into Australia’s natural environment, don’t bother going any further otherwise, you’ll love our place because of the location, beaches, the birds, wallabies, wombats.... and the house. Our place is ideal for couples wanting to explore what Flinders Island has to offer. A private, quiet and wonderful spot to walk and explore our beach and native garden. ‘The Retreat’ has a king size bed in a studio room with cooking facilities and BBQ. It is situated amongst large eucalypt gum trees featuring a private outdoor bath with sea views over Franklin Sound. Our guests can also experience Lorraine’s meals for dinner, delivered to the Retreat. Expect freshly baked bread on arrival, milk, butter, home made jam. All units have an extensive wine and beer selection.

Slow down to island time and enjoy magical views over Franklin Sound and use the beaches, walking tracks, parks, and wildlife just across the road at the end of the driveway. The tavern and shop is also 5 minutes away and airport is a leisurely 20 min walk.
