Restful and within an hour and a half of beautiful Mt Shasta, one hour from McCloud river falls, one hour from Burney Falls, one hour 15 minutes from Lava Beds, on the way to Reno from Oregon, a great place to stay if your visiting family in the area, coming to a wedding, reunion, need a couples get-a-way or mini vacation, duck-geese-deer-antelope hunting, fishing and great stargazing area, just a fun stop on your travels through!

Woodland Hideaway in Dunsmuir near Mt. Shasta

The Woodland Hideaway has two bedrooms: one with a king size bed & master bath & one with a queen. Another full bath is close by. Two cots are also available. The living room has comfortable seating, a pool table, wood burning stove, and a 56” Smart TV. A second living area includes a gas fireplace, comfortable seating, dining area, desk and a picture window which looks out into a canopy of fir, pine, holly & black oak trees. The kitchen is fully stocked and we also have a washer & dryer.

Peaceful cozy cottage with fishing and access to Fall and Tule Rivers, launch included. On private 375 acre family cattle ranch. We raise cows, pigs, ducks, and chickens. Winter snow, Spring animal babies every place you look, summer swimming, fishing, boating fire pit, star gazing, Fall Harvest, fresh fruits and vegetables to share, we process our gardens by canning, preserving, and cook cook cook.
