Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Wake up just steps from crystal-clear Burntside Lake at this beautifully renovated lakefront retreat. Set on two private acres with 250 feet of sandy shoreline in a quiet bay, the home offers comfort, privacy, and year-round adventure. Enjoy the flat lakeside lot, beach, docks, patio, fire pit, grill, Adirondack chairs, kayak, canoe, and paddleboard. Storybook Northwoods Log Cabin on Lake Superior

Painted Rock sits perched on a quaint spit of ledge rock, halfway between Lutsen and Grand Marais, on the edge of Cascade State Park. This historic log cabin has been lovingly restored to retain all its original charm and history, while updated with all the luxury amenities. A large Main Room is home to a wood-burning fireplace, dining table, game table, and picture windows that bring the Big Lake indoors in all seasons. A bathroom with a deep soaker tub and heated floors adds spa-like comfort.

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Perfect for solo adventures & couples willing to pack-in/pack-out. You are the CLEANER (you must vacuum, wipe, remove ALL food/garbage/rocks/crumbs and leave tidy!). During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
