Wow, what an awesome place to stay. Sad we only were there for one night. Really nice staff and really cool treenhouse.

We had a great stay in the cabin! The loft bed without any guardrails sort of took us by surprise, but aside from that it was an adorable, rustic and comfy spot in beautiful surroundings. Saw a couple snowshoe hare in the nearby woods! Instructions were very clear, with well placed and simply worded signs.

This is one of those places you can't have enough. It's a little piece of heaven. Really peaceful, with all that you need. Confortable, clean, private, with all that you need. Nancy is a great host. she gave us all the advices we needed and her recommendations were priceless, communication with her was always good. The cabin is near several interesting places and a 20 min drive to all the stores you need. I'll keep it as one of my favorites and I'm definitely coming back.

Danny was a great host! He even offered me tickets to a local hockey game. The little Cottage was exactly what I was looking for. It was private, has all the amenities, a comfortable bed, and very clean. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay, able to see the northern lights from there!

Very peaceful location, great instructions from the host. Floor is uneven which is common from frost heaving in this part of Alaska and it’s good to make sure you are comfortable with an outhouse! Sauna is a nice experience, and we saw both wildlife and the Aurora!

We had a great stay at the cabin, it was in a perfect location to see the Aurora borealis! Close enough to amenities yet tucked away for peace and quiet! The hosts were very friendly and gave us excellent tips and help. The cabin was so warm and cozy, highly recommend and would stay here again in the future!

Elli's cabin was perfect. It was just as described and pictured in the listing. My son and I felt right at home. It had everything we needed, including extra blankets to wrap ourselves up in and sit on the porch, sipping hot chocolate, while enjoying the sounds of the night. It was so peaceful. Elli was the perfect host; she was very responsive and even offered us a late check out since our flight didn't leave until midnight on check out day. Check in instructions were easy and she provided us with some great local recommendations of things to do on our day off. It was the perfect cabin for our 3-night stay. It'll be hard to find a place in Fairbanks that is more comfortable and nicer equipped. If/when we return to Fairbanks, we'll definitely return. Thanks so much for having us, Elli!!

The cottage is clean and organized, equipped with board games, and has efficient heat to keep us warm in winter season. There is a TV which you can see live camera of Aurora activities at night. David has provided us very useful information about aurora and even messaged us when there’s Northern light outside!

Excellent place, exactly what I was looking for! Private, secluded, away from city lights. It looked like it would be great sky for Aurora viewing (sadly we got a cloudy night but it was very dark with big sky). Lots of good trails nearby, and the host left good info/pictures about the place, trails, and surrounding area. We took the sled out to ride some of the paths! Host Lara was extremely helpful and accommodating. This being a small place (as advertised and expected), it didn’t have diverse pillow offerings stored in the unit. If we were there more than a single night, I suspect Lara could have offered a substitute. If you are picky, you may want to bring your own! All in all, an excellent stay and I wish we had longer in our trip to settle in.

Cute cozy place to stay in for a few nights. Easy access to roads, very quiet and peaceful area! Susan provided excellent hospitality.

The cabin was very clean and accurate to the pictures. The property was well-kept and very welcoming. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean! I will absolutely stay here again.

Kate’s home was perfect for my roller derby team as we travelled up to Fairbanks for an event with Fairbanks Roller Derby. The location was convenient for access to the venues we needed. Home was very clean and well stocked, just as described.

If you are wanting to get away from society and enjoy the outdoors in Alaska, this is the place! Be ready to step out of your comfort zone and enjoy what nature has to offer. Jody and everyone else was extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home.

Jason’s cabin was perfect for our needs! Check-in and checkout were seamless. It was warm and cozy inside, despite it being negative degree weather. The bathroom was clean and the cabin was tidy. There were more than enough towels and blankets provided. Loved the extra touches, such as drinks, snacks and coffee. There was even a washer and dryer if needed. The location was so beautiful in the winter and although we were not the only cabin on the property, we felt it was private. Just note that if you want to view auroras, you would have to drive to a clearing close by, as the cabin is surrounded by trees, unless they are directly overhead. We also noted the sulfur smell to the water, but that was to be expected. Overall, it was an amazing getaway cabin for my husband and I!
