The hooting of a great horned owl on the mountain behind the house is only rarely disturbed by the distant moan of the locomotive winding through the valley below.The property that this cabin and the main house sits on feels remote even though it is less than 15 minutes from shopping and Fairbanks International Airport.

About 15 min from downtown. You’ll like the place because of the view and the quiet neighborhood. My place is good solo adventurers but can accommodate a couple. The one-bedroom apartment with a private bathroom is in a building next to our house. 2 twin size beds, a table and chairs. Refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Recently painted walls. Cosy Artist Retreat for 2

This tiny, 8’ x 12’ cabin offers privacy for two. Conveniently located in West Fairbanks, 10 minutes from the airport, it features a loft bed, small kitchen appliances, and artistic decor, exclusive, private use of a full bathroom inside our home, completely separate from our personal area. Each unit has an equipped kitchen, table and chairs, full private bath, linens and Dishes.WiFi and Local TV

This 700 square foot walkout basement guesthouse has its own private drive and entry. Cook in the open kitchen, or grill out on the porch while enjoying the yard and get a peek of the Alaska Range and Tanana River through the trees. This newly remodeled unit has a washer and dryer, radiant heat, and 58 inch smart TV. (Squirrel Hollow sits below our larger unit, Fox Den, and they can be rented together for groups of up to 14 guests).

Raven’s Nest - Cozy, Northern Lights, Private

For added guests the livingroom couch folds out into a double bed. The apartment has lost of extra storage so you wont be tripping over your luggage. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space.

The Just Ducky Refuge is located on the Chena River, right off of Nordale, by the boat ramp. 15 min from Fairbanks, and 15 min to North Pole. A quiet place to sit and enjoy the beauty of Alaska. Watch the river flow in the summer, and watch the Yukon quest dog mushers go by in the winter. The Northern lights can be seen from the north and east of the property. A quiet refuge on the river.
