This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

The cottage is a stones throw away from the small beach and seafront and of course local pubs (often playing live music), open fires, restaurant's, many walks, golf and local amenities. Brae Cottage overlooks Whitehead, Islandmagee and Belfast Lough on the Causeway Costal Route and is 16 miles from Belfast. It is an ideal location to explore NI and provides guests with a quiet semi-rural location and yet is convenient to Whitehead where you will find local shops and cafes and also a train station with links to Belfast. Local attractions include Blackhead Coastal Walk, Whitehead Railway Museum and the Gobbins Cliff Path Walk which is located approx. 2 miles from the cottage.

The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom and a sofa bed.

A luxury holiday cottage consisting of a wing of Kildrochet House, an early 18th Century Grade B listed building. Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.
