South Lake Haven

We used the cabin for an employee retreat to regroup as a company. This space worked great for many reasons. They provided WiFi and clear password instructions. No issues with connectivity. They provided a little welcome basket with goodies which was unexpected. We did not have to worry about coffee because that was also provided. We bought some groceries for lunch and snacks and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There is a nice big table that we used for work as well as comfortable couches. There was a ton of room and the space is very open so you can see everyone in the room without issue. Getting in and out of the house was a breeze, the instructions were clear. The house itself was very peaceful with the lake behind it. The house feels nice and private as there are no houses on either side of it.

Quiet Family Cabin... on the Lake!

We had a wonderful time staying at Ian's place on the lake. The view of the water from the kitchen and deck was unbeatable, and we really enjoyed using the grill and firepit, spending time on the back deck, and exploring the local area. A very peaceful and cozy spot, which I would highly recommend!

Winter Wonderland cabin on Lake !

We stayed at David's place for a funeral in town, and it met all the expectations. The lake was right in the backyard with a nice view. Everything was clean and as described! Looks like it would be fun for the kids in the summer with a tree house slide and the lake!

Big Stone Lake Family Cabin: Lakefront

My dad and I stayed here for a father and son fishing trip on Big Stone Lake. It was perfect, right next to the access, all Lakeshore in front of house and exactly what we needed for a few day getaway to go fishing. Anthony and Brenda were great at communicating on check-in, Follow up during our stay and on checkout. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Lakefront Cabin on Kampeska w/ Dock, Style, & View

This lake cabin was such a great getaway for my family! The space was so cozy and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It had a good amount of yard space for all our favorite yard games, a great spot for a camp fire, and the dock was super nice for fishing and jumping into the lake. Tina is very friendly and was great about communicating. She keeps the space very clean and well stocked. I don’t think I could recommend this cabin more!

Cute cabin in a well established RV park. Nice pool for the kids. Bunk room was good for the kids. Kitchen was clean You do need to bring your own bathroom and pool towels. Bathroom was small but efficient

Kampeska lake house

Was very easy to find and check in was as simple as it could get. Was nice having a restaurant across the bridge and being on the lake. The cabin was clean and had everything you need to stay there. We were glad we could find a place that allowed pets also. If we comeback to south dakota hunting again would totally stay here again!

Overall everything was good and lots to do. Except all the stairs, which was mentioned in their listing and was expected. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayaks, and lots of fishing. Sunsets were on point - they were so beautiful!

Kris' place is in a good location and is a quaint, rustic cabin with everything you need. It has a nice porch overlooking the lake. The carport is awesome for keeping your boat out of the elements. The only downer is that Schmidts landing doesn't let you pay to use their landing, you need to use a public landing. This cabin is right next to them so you have a convenience store and bait handy. Overall nice place to stay.

This stay was perfect for my partners birthday! It was so peaceful on the lake and we caught a lot of fish off the dock! They lent me their hand mixer and were available whenever I had questions! They also had fresh baked goods on the counter when I arrived. This was definitely the nicest and most inviting stay I’ve ever had through Airbnb and I’d book again while visiting!
