My friends and I had a wonderful weekend here! I can honestly say that this was one of the most welcoming Airbnb experiences I've ever had. The hosts greeted us and gave us a thoughtful tour of the space, and they even prepared delicious homemade cookies for us. They also ensured that heaters near the river functioned well, and they made themselves available for any questions. The location and room itself were peaceful and incredibly comfortable. I already hope to come back for a get-away weekend once the weather warms up! I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough.

This is a wonderful location!! The Ocoee people!! Come stay here and enjoy the outdoors with a touch of city life for those who need it!

Excellent option in Ellijay...close to Amicalola Falls, Appalachian Trail, apple orchards, river, local town square for coffee, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Cultural museums, candy shop. We stayed here for my nephew's wedding at Summit Farm Weddings @10 miles away...a beautiful atmosphere with picturesque mountains, rolling hills and pastures. Highly recommend. It was chilly in FEB, but we'll be back again for check out summer. Thank you RandA!

Me and my friends spent a week at this place. Even though it's a shared space, it's very private. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a great place to unwind and relax, highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment in beautiful area of downtown Ellijay. Short walk to everything downtown. Perfect getaway with lots to do and beautiful scenery Everywhere you look. Host was very accessible at any time, and very informative and friendly of all the surrounding areas. We will go back and stay here again loved everything about it.

Our group of senior-citizen guys had a great weekend at this house. We were celebrating our 35th year of monthly card games and friendship, and the house was perfect for our needs. Beautiful property, well-maintained, and comfortable. Looked just like the pictures. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, had everything we could have needed, making it easy to prepare meals for the group. The local host, Jessica, was great, she quickly responded to all our questions and accommodated our special requests. The first day, we found the outdoor gas grill was not functioning properly, but Jessica brought an entirely new grill to the house less than an hour after being informed of the problem!! We all were very impressed by her promptness and friendliness in fixing this issue.

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

Our family has been coming to Bear Paw for the last 20 years for our family reunion. This was our first time in this cabin, and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space, and our children truly enjoyed the game room and well stocked board games. We ended up meeting the neighbors when enjoying the lake and they were so wonderful as well.

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

Really enjoyed the home. Our trip was cut short due to anticipated weather to travel 11-12 hrs home. Would love to come back and enjoy the porches during different seasons. During our stay it was cold and rainy. Place was as described- clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Rodney was very responsive and understanding when it came to checking out earlier than planned. Would definitely stay again.

I had a few special requests based on my stay. Heather not only responded quickly, but she was friendly, accommodating…and did not make me feel as though my requests were an inconvenience to her. Both levels of the home could used primarily for your stay. The driveway may be a bit steep for some, but I live locally, and you can expect this for the area…so it’s not a detractor given that. Heather also explains clearly where to park and there are other options if you don’t want to park directly at the front door. I plan to return as this is a great stay with lake access and access to all the amenities around the area. Thanks again, Heather!

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

This is a nice little house in the woods that is perfect for a getaway with a partner. The location was private, and there was a local store down the road if you needed anything else. Really nice kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Only complaint is the water smelled a little off (latexy), but I’m sure that’s just an issue with getting water to the location that’s out of their control. Other than that it was a great little getaway for the weekend and I highly recommend.
