Microwave, gas grill, toaster oven, small fridge, electric heater, indoor off the grid toilet, wood stove & pet friendly experience for the whole family. Close to local country stores. Trailer included for parties of 5 or more.

Corning Woodland Retreat

Recently remodeled bi-level home with lodge decor on a 9.5 acre wooded lot with beautiful 3/4 acre pond gives peaceful privacy and relaxation. While having an isolated feel, it has a/c, WiFi, dvd and firestick tv. Five miles from Corning's attractions, 20 min. to Elmira, and 35 min. from Watkins Glen and Finger Lakes. Spacious living/dining/kitchen area opens to a 12x28 deck overlooking the pond. Peaceful beauty, water, tall pines, maple trees and wildlife sightings make it hard to leave!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Our cabin is ideal for a quiet get-away for hunting, hiking, shooting, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, fishing & star gazing. The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! The outdoor space is expansive with a fire pit and entertaining area that is truly amazing. You are minutes from downtown Corning but secluded and off the grid. The cabin is powered by its on remote start generator and has all the comforts of home.

We normally ask for two nights- however, if you need one night ask & you can possibly snag this lovely place for one night! Light & Lovely Chateau is close to all of the favorite destinations in the northern tier of Pennsylvania including Mansfield University. We try to ensure guests have a wonderful experience!

Our town is at the cross-section of Routes 15 and 6 with easy drives to beautiful Wellsboro (18 min.), Corning, NY (32 min.), Watkins Glen (55 min.), and Williamsport (45 min.). We are a few blocks from Mansfield University, coffee shops, and antique shops.
