If you’re looking for more space and amenities than staying in a hotel room, but still want the cleanliness and professionalism you’d expect from one, then you may enjoy staying here. Our spacious 3 room, 1,200 square foot historic (c. 1670) one bedroom apartment for two guests has exposed beams, wide pine floors, full bath, kitchenette, and is just a short walk to Long Sands Beach or a short drive to York Beach, York Harbor, or York Village.

The Rafters

The Rafters is a finished studio space above our late 1800s barn. It has beautiful light and feels like a getaway as soon as you open the door. With the proximity to Portsmouth, NH and local attractions in Maine, you can escape to the Rafters, but with the ease of being so close to everything. Our neighborhood is beautiful and you can walk down to many spots that overlook the Piscataqua River. Or Uber home from a fun night in Portsmouth!

Relax in this renovated 1900s Cape overlooking a beautiful tidal river. Kayak on Sturgeon Creek, explore the Piscataqua River, swim at high tide, relax in the hammock, or enjoy evenings by the fire pit. Kids will love the buoy swing and large private yard.
