Or simply step out your door and take a short walk uptown to enjoy our small town: art gallery, coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping! We allow a maximum of 2 small to medium sizes dogs, upon approval.

Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Wifi upload and download speeds are excellent. Hiking trails are abundant and nearby. Ferndale is noted for its well preserved victorian architecture which houses a variety of boutique shops, specialty stores, cafes and restaurants.

The Red Barn Cottage is located within walking distance of the Victorian village of Ferndale. The Cottage is a charming, separate studio with a private entrance, gated patio, full kitchen and bathroom. We provide wonderful amenities including coffee, teas, continental breakfast items and snacks for our guests. A small to medium size dog is allowed but with our approval and an additional nonrefundable pet fee.
