Tranquility lives up to its name. Peace & quiet are the words guests use most to describe their visit. Less than 4 miles from the beach & 1 mile from the boat landing and hiking/bike trails, this is the place to unplug & reconnect with family & friends. To make sure you have a great vacation and know what to expect during your stay, it is important to read ALL information in our listing carefully. In addition to NOT being on the beach, several features make our home unique and not for everyone.

Sunset River Cottage

Our quaint little River House rests on the beautifully natural marsh grass banks of the Whale Branch River in a quiet rural neighborhood. It is located only 9 miles from Historic Downtown Beaufort and 15 miles from Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot. Hunting Island State Park's sandy beaches, nature tails, and lighthouse tours are a scenic 40 minute drive away. You can swim, fish, kayak or go boating right from the dock in our own back yard. When you arrive; you won't want to leave!

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Architectual design allows you to fully take in the view of the lowcountry marsh. The backdrop of the bed allows you to fall asleep to the majestic starry filled night sky! Soak your cares away with a bath that will surely relax and unwind you. The background is breathtaking! The outside shower allows you to take in the scenery while enjoying a hot shower. This is an "unplug" listing, no tv or internet access. Hunting Island Beach Pass included.

Serene Edisto Beach Cottage Among Stately Oaks

Enjoy the island breezes on one of two screened in porches under beautiful oak trees. Located on the 5th fairway at Wyndham Resort. This three bedroom home with its open lofty living area and spacious master suite is the perfect family retreat. Wyndham offers amenities including three swimming pools, beach cabana with restrooms, tennis, gym and putt putt. Availability is not guaranteed. Please check with resort for pricing and availability. Home is wheel chair accessible including a ramp.

Lovely Edisto Beach home/a short walk to the beach

Otter Escape is perfectly located on a quiet cul-de-sac only 450 steps from the beach. Our home is spacious inside and out. Main floor master has a king bed, master bath with shower and soaking tub. Two upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, a private bath and a TV in each bedroom. Open space living and dining area join a fully stocked kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired. Enjoy the lulling sounds of the ocean while deer watching on both the front and back decks.

Newland’s Eyeland Steps away from the beach path

Dogs welcome with $100 non refundable pet fee. Our home is a traditional family beach house. A place to relax and refuel. We hope you will enjoy the laid back pace locals often refer to as Edislow. We provide a terrific location, clean home, linens, stocked kitchen, paper products (starter set) and several beach towels/chairs. Our hope is that you will kick up your feet and relax.
