A private getaway tucked away in the Harkerville forest. A perfect stay if you are looking for a romantic getaway or time out to relax and connect with the whole family. Close to popular attractions in the area including Luka Wine Farm, The Saturday Market, Quad biking, Archery, The elephant sanctuary as well as a number of hiking and cycling trails. A 10 minute drive into the hub of Plettenberg Bay and blue flag beaches and famous hikes. Please take note of the no entry signs on the property.

The Beach House

The Beach House is a small, but beautifully proportioned residence which sits in an enviable location, just metres from the golden sands of Jeffrey’s Bay. Be woken in the morning with the sunlight flooding in, have breakfast on the deck watching dancing dolphins, spend the day surfing or exploring and end the day watching the sky turn scarlet in front of the fire pit. Please also see 127 da Gama if you want to rent the whole property. Please note it is a Japanese style bed and relatively hard.

The beach is a 2 min walk away. The house consists of six en-suite bedrooms. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, a 12-seater dining table, downstairs lounge and entertainment areas. In addition, there is an upstairs TV lounge. Guests love the indoor braai (barbecue) and pizza oven. There are fireplaces to keep you warm; fire wood provided. The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We offer peace, tranquility, silence, stargazing, bird watching, walking, hiking, cycling, board games, reading and just relaxing. Wifi is available and TV on request. Although we are self-catering, we do offer a variety of home grown farm produce and meals which can be ordered in advance.
