A delightful self-contained Poured Earth building 500 metres from the Rail Trail. A renovated building with rendered walls, polished concrete floor, full kitchen, reverse cycle AC, wood heater and large bathroom. Open plan design creates an instant impact when you walk in. Large sunny courtyard with wonderful rural views. So much to do with Metung Hot Springs, beaches, lakes, mountains and Buchan caves to visit. A perfect place for a romantic holiday to stop, relax and go exploring.

The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

Harvey's

Koala Kottage’s refurbished interior features a living area, dining area, exquisite large en suite bathroom with garden courtyard view and an ultra modern fully equipped kitchen . There is also an eating area and BBQ outside on the vine covered deck or make use of the seated fire pit area with a barbecue cooking plate . The Kottage features vaulted timber lined ceilings with sky light. Surrounded by a natural habitat of gum trees, koalas, kangaroos and colourful native birds.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Our place is close to the beach with exceptional views. You’ll love our unique lifestyle, raw, organic living spaces, chemical free living with 'free' clean ocean air. Only a short walk to the beach(s) great for those who seek a health & wellness space. This is a self contained studio adjacent to our home - the kitchenette does not include an oven or stovetop however there is a Weber baby BBQ, a toaster, microwave, fridge and sandwich maker. We offer free WiFi and Netflix.

Lakeview House- Cosy Retreat Spectacular views

Escape to a cosy 2-bedroom sanctuary with lake views and floor-to-ceiling windows. Perfect for surfers, fishers, and nature lovers, you’ll be surrounded by kookaburras, kangaroos, wombats, and a resident koala. Now’s the perfect time to visit: if you’re lucky you may spot migrating whales along the coast, glimpse the Aurora Australis from the nearby beach, and enjoy the magic of bioluminescence glowing along the beaches and river. Karbeethong Hill

‘Karbeethong Hill’ is a completely SC private one bedroom unit with QS bed. Ensuite, fully equipt kitchen/living room. The apartment has fantastic views overlooking the lake and Howe Range with garden furniture and barbecue on the private deck. All bed linen and towels, tea/coffee making machine and coffee pods supplied. This home is on the top of Karbeethong hill so there are stairs to access the unit, very manageable with handrails and good night lighting.

Just 10 mins drive to the historic town and beaches of Eden. We are also happy for guests to bring pets.

Kings View, Kings Cove, Metung

As evidenced by the feature photo, the house offers sweeping views of Lake King and the Boole Poole Peninsula. This panoramic view now includes the Metung Hot Springs resort, our new neighbours, positioned some 20 metres from our water view deck. Construction of Stage 1, a glamping and hot pools offer, is now open. Book on the MHS website to secure your relaxing hot pools experience.
