We love welcoming people to our home in the heart of Virginia Beach! Come and go as you please in our guest suite with a separate entrance and privacy latches-no one will enter your space. You will also have the added convenience of having the host family on site. We do our best to provide the comforts of home. -fridge/freezer -beach essentials -toaster -coffee bar -extra essentials We want you to make yourself at home with us. Home away from home is a spacious, comfortable, and private apartment with 1 Queen bedroom, full bath w/ tub, living area, work space, and fully equipped kitchen. Conveniently and centrally located in historic neighborhood: 3 mins to bay, 15 mins to oceanfront. We are within 4 miles of Norfolk Premium Outlets and IKEA, and are within 5 miles to Virginia Wesleyan and 15 miles to ODU. Walk to local favorite restaurants (New River Tap House, The Rustic Spoon, 1608 Crafthouse, Comfy Belly).

There is no congestion, crowds, or large commercial beach resorts here. Experience the exact opposite at Courtyard Cottage, steps away from a quiet, peaceful beach surrounded by sand dunes for a special getaway. A park across the street offers playgrounds and pet-friendly walks, and a local farmers' market opens from 9 a.m. to noon. Saturdays, May 4 - Nov 23. A past guest wrote, "This place brings beach home nostalgia, peace, and a time to relax". No parties, quiet hours after 10 pm.
