Forest Retreat Host Joan and Clayton

The fully separate home is located on our property offering a great space for a couple or a couple with small children. We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. A beautiful sandy beach and children's playground are located in town.

Enjoy walking trails, a boat launch with private mooring space, sawdust city brewery, the oar restaurant, Muskoka boat rentals, steamship tours, parasailing, local events, etc. all from the privacy of a dead end road.

Our 2-bedroom cabin is the ultimate getaway for relaxation or embarking on new adventures. Situated within a serene 52-acre wooded property, our cabin offers exclusive access to 2 kilometers of private trails that connect to the Twin Lakes snowmobile trails. On our outdoor patio, you'll find a year-round hot tub, BBQ, and fire pit, all overlooking a tranquil seasonal creek. Despite its secluded location, we are a mere 10-minute drive from the charming boutiques and restaurants of Bobcaygeon.

2nd Floor Guest Suite

2nd floor guest suite located only 5 minutes to downtown Bancroft. This large suite has a queen bed, queen pull out sofa bed, mini fridge with freezer, microwave, smart tv, keurig machine (tea, coffee, sweeteners and milk/cream provided) and spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Please note that a full flight of stairs must be climbed to access this unit once inside the door. Please also note there is no kitchen in this suite, cooking appliances & candles are prohibited due to fire risk.

Hidden amongst the trees in the middle of Muskoka, this Hemlock log cabin boasts high ceilings and a true "cabin in the woods" feel. Its not hard to relax and unwind with a coffee in front of the fire, or go and explore along the private forest trails (1-2k of walking trails). As well, downtown Bracebridge is a convenient 10 minute drive away with all amenities. There is a veggie garden on the property and depending when you come you can pick away at it :) Pets are welcome in the home!
