Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

We would call this experience like camping but in the cutest setting of a bunkie. Private location. Bunkie has a wood burning stove for heating. Cook your meals on a bbq or gas stove (outdoors). Enjoy a nice evening fire with family or friends. It is a true off grid camping experience. solar panels/generator offer indoor lighting. Outhouse is a short path away.

Small cabin in the woods with many seasonal uses. There is over 1000 adjoining acres of mixed forest & fields. Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside, not a full kitchen. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

Short drive to several lakes, the Trent Severn, multiple parks, extensive off roading & snowmobiling trails. Single loft with two twin beds that can easily be put together to make a king and a comfy queen size sofa bed on the main floor. Wood stove is the primary heat.
