Take it easy at this serene and tranquil getaway just two miles from downtown Durham. Prepare a scrumptious meal over the charcoal or gas-fired bbq or in the wood-fired pizza oven. Note: Outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower and plunge pool closed November to April. This suite is attached to the main house with a seperate entrance.

Cozy Loft in the Woods

Our home is tucked away off of Washington Street and feels secluded though we are walking distance to downtown Dover. Our home was built as a warehouse 100 years ago and was converted to a residence in 2009. The apartment has a separate entrance from the rest of the house and has a private deck. The space is light and airy, both rustic and contemporary, with old floors and exposed rafters. We are a short walk to restaurants and bars, and the train to Boston or Portland, Maine.

This lovely 3-room suite in our home has a private entrance. Rooms include bedroom, private bathroom, and sitting room/art studio with a sofa bed. 10 minutes from University of New Hampshire, and 30 minutes from Portsmouth. Small refrigerator, coffee maker and electric kettle. Nearby hiking, pickle-ball, tennis. In winter, 1 hour to downhill ski, cross country nearby. This property is a working farm and greenhouse business, with CSA vegetable gardens. All are welcome.
