We had a wonderful time at this peaceful, lovely home. Surrounded by trees and quiet. Had everything we needed and felt spacious for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. Dunsmuir is full of natural beauty. Would stay again! Thank you to our hosts!

Super easy house for a couple, families, or many people. Beds are comfortable, well (very well) equipped kitchen with items for cooking, baking, lots of plates . . . , and a very comfortable living room. Great location with an amazing mountain view a just a short walk down the alley, and peak a boo views from the house. Easy walk to groceries and food. No shoes inside, so you might want to bring slippers/house shoes. They do have some slippers to borrow too. Happy we stayed here.

This place was clean, comfortable, and charming! We enjoyed our stay, and loved how cozy it felt. Loved the historic feel of it, and particularly enjoyed the record player and a couple of the albums. ♥️

Cute and quiet cottage in the middle of the woods. Very relaxing and well decorated.

Claudia’s home was absolutely beautiful! Nestled amongst evergreens with plenty of space for the kids to play, snow or shine :) The home itself was open and welcoming, with wonderful, rustic decor and family style kitchen with all the amenities. The bedrooms were generously sized, and had the most comfortable beds! We will definitely be coming back! Sarah and Family

I really enjoyed my time at Trish’s place in Dunsmuir near Mt. Shasta. The yard and home are both cozy and lovely — I thoroughly enjoyed many peaceful moments in each. I spent most of my time out exploring nearby nature spots or in-around the town of Shasta, and found the home a great nest to adventure from and return to for more quite times. Trish’s communication was great and I appreciated her recommendations!

I highly recommend this accommodation. Lauren consistently demonstrated kindness and was very supportive with any requests we had. The location is exceptionally convenient, being centrally situated. The property was meticulously tidy and clean throughout. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

It’s a great location close to the Nordic and downhill ski areas- with a beautiful view of Mt Shasta! The kitchen was well equipped (no cheap cooking stuff) and everything was clean and lovely. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described in the description. The Butterfly’s rest was in reasonable distance (walking & driving) to all of the spots we wanted to check out. Thyra and Christine were very responsive and thorough with their instructions and recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

The Airbnb was amazing! Checking and checkout were very smooth. The house was amazing! So much natural light. The kitchen is beautiful. The deck is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax in the sun. Definitely will stay next time we are in town. Love the location, very walkable.

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

We enjoyed our stay here, hiking in the nearby parks, followed by relaxing in the hot tub and the. spending time checking out the town with a variety of restaurants within walking distance.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.

Me and my wife had a wonderful 2 night stay at thyra's place, thyra has been extremely helpful with clear and detailed instructions , the place is so close to the hedge creek falls , you can simply walk to the falls , its a very beautiful fall . we would definitely like to come back here next time, Thank you thrya for being an excellent host and letting us stay at your place :)
