For us, Geri's place was an experience stay. it is very remote in exceptionally beautiful country. We were in the area to visit a relative and enjoyed our stay. We did have a problem with the door lock in the evening which Geri promptly responded to and corrected. Overall our experience was good. The king size mattress was very comfortable, although it would benefit from some nicer bedding. For example, there was no mattress pad and one of the blankets was an old electric blanket (with no cord provided) which was scratchy/uncomfortable. We encountered a number of crickets and other bugs but this could be in part from the air conditioner units not being sealed around the edges. And it's a farm/rural area, so some bugs would be expected. I think groups of hunters might really enjoy this property. (We loved the remoteness and the cute kitty who hung around the house.) Kelli was great and the house perfect for what we needed for a weekend full of baseball. The fridge was stocked with juice boxes and she had homemade cookies waiting for us. The kids loved it! Will definitely come back again if we find ourselves back in North Platte

I had a fantastic stay here! The place was beautiful, very comfortable, and felt like home. It was extremely well stocked with everything I could possibly need—kitchen essentials, toiletries, and even a few thoughtful extras. The attention to detail really made a difference. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

My family doesn't take many vacations but one place we used to visit as kids was Long Pine and what we loved most was tubing down Long Pine Creek. We never stayed at Hidden Paradise but we always thought how cool it would be to stay at a cabin right on the creek that we shared so many memories floating down. Ten years later, Erica made that happen for us! The cabin was quaint and spacious with beautiful surroundings and direct access into the creek. Tubes were also provided along with a fire pit and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. My family was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to relive old memories and spend quality time together at a place we love. We will definitely be back!

Paul and Mendy are great hosts. Paul gave us great directions to the house, welcomed us, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is a great place to stay and is in a quiet place that feels like you are in a secluded area.

Very quiet and quaint, cozy. Hosts were very responsive and amenable.

We had a peaceful stay at the Sandhills Retreat. The sandhills are so tranquil and the house is a great spot to show off the natural beauty of central Nebraska. We had everything we needed for meals and entertainment. Marian was great at communicating with us, providing checkin information proactively so our group could trickle in throughout the day.

The house was great for me and my son to stay at during hunting season. All the comfort of a house with close proximity to national forest. Julia was a great and helpful host who took care of any needs we had. The furniture, tv, internet and overall place was comfortable. The place is located just off the highway so you may get some traffic noise, but I will certainly stay here again when I visit the forest again.

Great place to come back to and unwind after a long day hunting. Felt right at home
