Self contained dog friendly cottage in a peaceful rural setting on a small hobby farm. Enjoy country hospitality in nearby villages Dungog, Clarencetown, Paterson, Vacy, Gresford and historic Morpeth. We are around an hours drive to many Hunter Valley attractions such as wine regions, Barrington Tops, Gloucester, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens & Newcastle beaches. Farm stay can include feeding time for ducks, cooks, cows and horses should you desire. Kids (of all ages) can collect eggs too.

Mountain View offers 5 bedrooms consisting of Main Bedroom, Queen and own Bathroom Featuring Spa Bath, Two Bedrooms with Queen Bed with own ensuite facilities, two bedrooms with twin single beds with one trundle bed in each room also with own ensuite facility. Total sleeping accommodation 12. Attached is a large balcony with BBQ and outdoor furniture and a short walk away a shared swimming pool ,tennis court and child playset, indoors billiard table and large TV for your enjoyment.

My place is close to Barrington Tops, Chichester Dam, National Park & Dungog. You’ll love my place because of the views, the ambiance, the high ceilings hand crafted from beautiful rich red cedar, the location is remote and so peaceful, people in Dungog are so friendly, enjoy the pool table, bbq, tennis court and pool plus warm fire place. Blackwattle is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. Dungog has 3 pubs, 3 clubs, a take away, 3 coffee cafe's, a pizzeria and a IGA.

Claret Ash Cottage is a beautiful 1890's mining cottage nestled in the hamlet of Elderslie, Hunter Valley. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.

Escape to the Country in our Rock House Cottage

Escape to the country when you stay in Rockhouse, part of Hunter River Retreat . It is located on 110 acres in the lower Hunter Valley , close to wineries and also Maitland. Rockhouse is a truly unique rustic setting, it was built from rocks gathered from the property. You'll love the peace and serenity. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and bigger groups.

The Paterson Skywalk is a vision that took me a decade to turn into reality. I bought a bush block with a beautiful view of the Paterson Valley, with the river, the village and the bush-covered hills, and built a home. All the photos in this listing were taken on my property, where native birds and wildlife are often spotted enjoying the same view.
