Being one of the original fishermen's cottages on Dungeness, Seaview Cottage has been lovingly restored to cater for modern needs yet still maintain it's old charm with the original wood panelled interior throughout. It is perfectly situated with sea views to the front and the wild shingle beach known as 'The Desert of England' all around you. The famous RHDR miniature steam railway runs just a few strides from your front door and the Dungeness National Nature Reserve stretches out behind you.

Relax by the cosy log burner, cook in the fully fitted kitchen, and wake to magical lake views from the bedroom. In spring, enjoy the woodland with bluebells and delicate flowers; summer brings long golden evenings over the lake, and autumn paints the trees in rich, vibrant colours. Step outside to gentle ripples, watch wildlife, or visit East Hoathly village with its café, shop, and pub just minutes away.

The house is located just 300m from the beach and has great views of the Kent coast. Dungeness is a vast expanse of shingle that juts out into the English Channel. This dramatic coastal setting has the quality of wilderness and isolation. Dungeness is home to only 40 homes, two lighthouses with the Pilot restaurant nearby. Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. It has a double bedroom (5' bed) with huge picture window, a central main room with sofa bed leading to a kitchen area and separate shower room beyond. Decking and private screened bath. Dog friendly.

The Old Log Cabin at Dungeness

The 'Old Log Cabin' with amazing views over the English channel is located on the beach, and is built around old Victorian railway carriages. An ideal cosy place to chill. In the centre there is a dining area, and a separate seating area with views over the channel. There are 4 bedrooms; superking bedroom, kingsize bedroom, double bedroom and a single bedroom with an extra pull-out. The kitchen is retro but has modern kitchen appliances. The property includes a lounge and a massive bathroom.

This really is a place to relax, soak up the relaxed atmosphere, gaze up at the stars and enjoy that well deserved break away. Situated between the medieval town of Sandwich and seaside coast of Deal within a 10 minute drive each way. Canterbury just 20 minutes further, there is plenty to see whilst away.

Beach house in Dungeness

Beautiful Dungeness house right on the beach with ever changing views of the sea all year round. The house incorporates an original train carriage and the living space is open plan. The well equipped kitchen includes a generous dining table and chairs, which also looks out across the beach. There are two double bedrooms within the carriage as well as a shower room. An ideal place to explore Dungeness as well as discovering the wider area including Rye, Folkestone and the Romney Marsh.
