Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

The Cabin

The Cabin is situated in a private and tranquil setting offering an opportunity for guests to unwind and relax. Surrounded by mature trees, gardens and green fields, this rural retreat also offers an abundance of local wildlife to enjoy. It is a modern log cabin with secure private parking which is based in the grounds of our home. Our traditional Historic barn has been lovingly restored to offer guests a unique experience in an idillic country location. Nestled within the Dromara hills,you can enjoy the stunning views while you relax and unwind in our private hot tub. Explore the area on foot or bike, squat through the weekend at T3 gym onsite or bring your rod for a spot of fishing on the River Lagan. If you're feeling more adventurous there are countless top NI attractions within a 30 min drive.

A converted barn, a wonderful space for a couple as cosy but also for a family as has a large kitchen. Just outside Hillsborough (2 miles) enjoy the peace of the countryside whilst not being too far from the sights. (Belfast 30 mins, Dublin 1hr 30mins, North Coast, Giants Causeway, 1hr 30mins). Larchfield Estate, wedding venue, 5 minutes drive away. You have complete privacy from us but if you need any advice while here we are just across the yard.
