The Stable Yard, Tranquil stay in beautiful Down

Unique shed conversion with views to the Mourne mountains. A tranquil location situated on our 10 acre equestrian yard but close to Downpatrick and Crossgar with shops, eateries and pubs. A quirky property with two double bedrooms, open plan living/dining with a wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen. The equine theme is evident in the design. There's a private south facing garden with access to all of our site with panoramic views over Co Down. Off road parking. Horses and dogs welcome.

The Beach House Strangford

Wake up right beside the sea in our historic cottage on Kilclief Beach! Cosy one-bedroom cottage for two, with spectacular sea views. A 1797 labourer's cottage full of character and everything needed for a relaxing stay - king bed, wood-burning stove, central heating, Wi-Fi and private off-road parking. Minutes from Strangford village. Kilclief Castle, Killard Nature Reserve, golf courses, the Mourne Mountains and a range of restaurants/activities all within easy reach. Tourism NI certified.

The Barn

The Barn is a charming 2 storey restored stone barn set in 1.5 acres of private garden with mature trees on an elevated site in the foothills of the Mournes. The barn is 4 miles from Dromara, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the source of the River Lagan and 4 miles from Ballynahinch. Take time to detach from the world and enjoy a break nestled in a cosy self-catering cottage, perfect for hikers, cyclists, film crew or wedding guests at local venues like Montalto Estate or Larchfield.

Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Story 1/2 Full house, 6 bedrooms can sleep up to 12, Hot tub, Mancave/ pool area in garage. Perfect location for visiting the Mournes 5 mins drive from Newcastle, 5 mins drive from castlewellan, waking distance to Tollymore & Trassey car park ( Where games of thrones was filmed). 2 mins or less drive to Ott Car park. This house is state of the art and only newly renovated to the highest spec Coin operated pool table takes 10,20, 50ps & £1s. Fully private parking can hold multiple vehicles

Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
