You can enjoy the stellar views of Haro Strait and San Juan Island, as well as a chance to do some whale watching on your private patio. With our close proximity to the University of Victoria, Mount Douglas, dozens of beaches, and downtown Victoria, you are bound to find something to see and do every day of your visit.

Cottage Retreat by the Bay

The cottage bay retreat is in the lower level of our character home. My adult daughter and I live upstairs. We are located across the street from sandy Cordova Bay beach which is what makes staying in Cordova Bay so special. There is abundant sea life with otters, seals, eagles, crabs and a wonderful sandbar to explore tidal pools at low tide. It’s a great place to kayak or paddle board. Bike trails to Victoria are 1 block away. Come back from the beach and relax in this rustic stylish space.

Welcome to my home in James Bay, Victoria's oldest neighbourhood - walking distance to downtown sights, museums, shopping, dining, nature and more! Spacious guest room with creature comforts, perfect for business travel or vacationing singles or couples who want to get out and experience beautiful Victoria. Relax and unwind steps from the Inner Harbour, Empress Hotel, Ogden Point breakwater, Beacon Hill Park and downtown to the sound of horse-drawn carriages. Please note there is no kitchen.

Across Esquimalt Lagoon, a bird sanctuary, is Dunsmuir castle, part of Royal Roads University.
