Camping on a private island in the Kawarthas

Campout on your very own private island in the Kawarthas. Great for swimming, fishing, and enjoying nature. 14 foot aluminum boat provided, no motor...but it's only about 150 ft from our dock on shore to our dock on the island. Boat traffic on the Trent can be a little busier on weekends, so there could be the odd wave which could make it difficult for swimming with or even fun for children. Always wear proper PFD Weekend noise from the trailer park can sometimes go into the night past midnight.

Newly renovated and hidden in its own bay on Stoney Lake, it offers seclusion and quiet. You'll enjoy the picturesque scenery and the wildlife the bay offers. In the evenings you'll catch breathtaking sunsets. SUMMER: the bay is too shallow/weedy to swim, 10min paddle (canoe/kayak provided) gets you to a great swim spot. WINTER: conditions may offer skating on the bay.

Our place is on the Trent Severn Waterways and near down town shopping. Great for biking,kyaking, pubs and restaurants. Our suite is equipped with one bedroom with fireplace ,TV and ensuite with jacuzzi. There is a kitchen and dining area, living room with TV and fireplace. Free Wifi. There is also laundry facilities, Hot tub ,sauna and outside patio with propane fire pit and barbecue, all for your private use. We are setup for a couple and our amenities are for our guests only .

Rice Lake Treehouse - Waterfront / Hot Tub Spa

This fully licensed, gorgeous, perfectly located, unique waterfront home on Rice Lake is sure to please the entire family with its spacious, comfortable layout, expansive decks and plenty of outdoor activities available including lawn games, waterfront fire pit area, hot tub & 2 stand up paddle boards with life jackets. Everybody will sleep comfortably in our 2 kings, 2 queens and 1 twin size bed across 5 bedrooms, and morning routines are easy with our 3 full baths with showers.

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!
