The Bunk House

Take it easy at this unique & peaceful accommodation. Located 8 miles from West Point, 7 miles from Snyder & 6 miles from Scribner, this location offers a short drive to surrounding communities. Less than a mile away is Dead Timber State Recreation area with walking trails & lakes. The Bunk House is located on the same place the hosts live. Covered parking in shed is available. Sleeping spaces include 1 queen size bed, a couch, and a queen size air mattress if needed. Pack-n-play available.

Cozy Nest on the Platte River

Enjoy quiet country living in the guest house by our home on the Platte River. There are forty acres where you can fish, walk, swim, or just relax on the porch. Accommodations for a family of four. Additional space with a pull out couch or add the River Room to your reservation. Enjoy one of the restaurants nearby or bring your own food. Use the gathering space with couch, tv, fridge, kitchenette, and grill. WIFI is available but we recommend you put down the devices and enjoy your getaway.

Camping at Honker Holler Park on the Platte River

Escape the busyness of life and connect with nature at this unique camping spot. No wifi, or cable; just you, nature, and all it has to offer. Wake up to the birds chirping and fall asleep to a sky filled with stars! This area was created to utilize our camper that sleeps 4 comfortably. Honker Holler can accommodate additional guests as an extension to our other listing, Cozy Nest on the Platte River, like the River Room or offer a completely different group of guests a secluded get away.

The outdoor space is plentiful including a large, covered patio with a grill, sand beach, firepit area and dock. Paddle boat, kayaks, life jackets and a swim mat are provided. Washer and dryer are provided!

We have a unique older home in a nice neighborhood. This home has 2 bedrooms with king sized beds, a sofabed, queen air mattress and a pak-n-play. A wood burning fireplace gives the home a cozy warmth during the winter months. Outdoor fire pit as well as a gas barbecue are available for use in the large, fenced back yard. Fully stocked kitchen should have most everything you'd need to prepare and serve a nice meal. We look forward to hosting you.
