Sandarusi is a beautiful house, set on our favourite stretch of beach - we'll be back! Thanks to Anthony and Rodgers for looking after us so well

We had a gorgeous week in Diani at Gloria's place - the house was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated, we ate our meals on the terrace and were often greeted by the monkeys, Chef Rosie's meals were delicious, Gloria was exceptionally responsive and helpful and we had the swimming pool to ourselves for the entire stay. My only note would be that whilst this property is an easy walk to the public beach - Diani's public beach itself has no shade so it was difficult for us to enjoy the sea with small children (unless you pay for hotel entrance).

The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood. As mentioned, there is another family living on the compound, but the compound is big and nicely divided by trees, so there is full privacy plus the family is super silent, so I didn't even know they are there. Nice green garden all around the house. The house itself is nicely decorated, kitchen more than perfectly equiped, big fridge. I especially liked the outside verandah with a wooden bar and wooden chairs to have my afternoon cup of tea. All the place is perfectly clean, host extremely nice. What to ask more for? Recommended kabisa kabisa !!!

The house is beautifully presented with 4 enormous double bedrooms, two with equally enormous balconies. The pictures do not do the property justice. Mzuri House is part of a well run little complex. Security is ever present and you feel perfectly at ease at all times. The house feels very private and is 20M from the quieter Galu Beach, an extension of Diani beach. Sails and Salty Squid restaurants are excellent and only 100M. However the main attractions at Mzuri House are Liz the housekeeper and Shee the chef. Both were amazing hosts. Liz will communicate with before you arrive. She will arrange everything for you from airport pick-ups to restaurant bookings as well as keep the house spotless. Shee the chef prepares delicious breakfasts and lunch and / or dinner. All meals were extraordinary local dishes that our usually difficult to please 3 kids devoured! We can not recommend Mzuri House enough and in particular Liz and Shee.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway near the beach!"

The home was easy to get to turn right immediately after Bahari Dhow on to the cabro road. The pin on the page takes you elsewhere. Bit once you get there the staff are very friendly, responsive and helpful. Check-in was quick and easy. The home is breezy, clean and feels very homely. The pool is very clean. The chef gave us a shopping list based on our menu choice and was flexible throughout. Shamila herself was also available on chat and very responsive even though she was not in the country. There are fans ans ACs in every room. The beach is practically 2 minutes walk from her gate. Just the usual vendors trying to sell you stuff. I will def be back.

Good location (10min walk to the beach) and very peaceful. Kiko (the host) is very friendly and responds quickly to all queries. We had a plate of pasta and fruits waiting for us, which made our first night there super easy. Eric (chef) and the rest of the staff were also very attentive and provided a great service. And if you prefer to cook, the kitchen is well equipped. I'd recommend!

We spent 10 days at Jackie's traditional cottage with shared pool - very peaceful location - nice big shared pool - but so few other guests we had it to ourselves - it was cleaned daily - the children loved it. We had an issue with the shower underperforming but Jackie had it sorted out in no time, the main bedroom had A/C and the second room a ceiling fan, large well equipped kitchen and nice partially open living room with quality furniture - made us feel more in touch with the tropical garden. We regularly saw Monkeys and bush babies, the rooms were cleaned daily. We would always want to stay here when we visit Ukunda again, its only short TukTuk ride to the supermarket and you can walk to Kongo River, although I would suggest you head further south to Diani or Gaul beach as the beaches are much nicer than Kongo River.

Hiii, me and my partner had a good time at omondis apartment!! The view is nice and the hose totally fine especially for the price. The pool got cleaned but it was still quite empty and abandoned. Maybe also bc we were out of season there and anyway it was nice quiet then. The house was clean but still in the evening some cockroaches showed up. So maybe for people who really can’t stand them it’s not the best place. For us it was totally fine bc it was not a lot and from our experience it’s quite hard to find places where there is not one… the communication with omondi was friendly and helpful! Thank you!:)

Avevo già soggiornato in questo residence, in un altro appartamento, ma sinceramente il migliore in assoluto è quello che offre ALEX. Letti comodi, lenzuola pulite, tende oscuranti che gentilmente ALEX a provveduto ad installarle poiché io non amo essere svegliata all’alba dalla luce solare. 🙏😉🙏 Con alcuni piccoli accorgimenti in più, questo appartamento sarà sicuramente il più bello e meglio organizzato di tutta la struttura. In questo edificio affittano in molti, ma sinceramente l’appartamento di ALEX per me resta il migliore in termini di pulizia, comunicazione e disponibilità. La vista è senz’altro impagabile . Per quanto riguarda la struttura esterna, l’edificio lascia molto a desiderare, ma una volta entrati nell’appartamento di ALEX, sicuramente si dimentica tutto il resto . Non solo ci ritornerei più volte, ma sicuramente ci ritornerò a breve per un soggiorno molto più lungo . Consiglio vivamente questo posto .🙏🩷🙏 Grazie, ALEX sei davvero una persona speciale . 🫶

We had a wonderful stay at Rosey villa. It was spacious and clean, cozy and comfortable, and exceeded our expectations (looks better than the pictures) Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. She kept in touch throughout our stay! We stayed with our 2 small dogs and a toddler and it was an excellent choice since they had enough space to move around. The house manager and caretaker were helpful too! We highly recommend this property to other travelers and we would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely place to stay with my family for 5 nights over New Year. Short walk to Beach, great chef Jacob and housekeeper Janet always there to help. Comfortable and clean. Lots of space. Great pool. House and eating area nicely shaded from the heat.

Shalom Cottages is an awesome place to be in. The owner is quite understanding and can accommodate any small changes in the timelines. The environment is clean. The swimming pool area is clean. It is a second home to people with a family. The staff, Gibran, is always ready to help. Amazing experience. Would highly recommend.

Our family had an exceptional stay at Paul’s beautiful home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the serene setting and expansive, well-appointed spaces. The house was immaculately maintained, with Grace, the housekeeper, ensuring everything was spotless throughout our stay. On Paul’s recommendation, we hired a private chef whose delicious meals elevated the entire experience and allowed us to fully unwind. The pool was pristine and perfect for relaxing, and the location offered both privacy and convenience. A truly luxurious retreat, we would absolutely love to return

African house is beautiful with a well kept large garden and pool. It Is very clean with diffent animal themed bed rooms. located in a central location that makes it easy to access the beach, shops and restaurants. Dog friendly too meaning we took our pet with us. The staff are really friendly and very proactive. The host is very responsive and helpful. I have already recommended it to my family and Friends for their Christmas holidays.

Allan is a great host. He made sure that we had a comfortable and easy stay. He was easy available on phone. I highly recommend Allans place, its easy accessible and in The Heart of Diani. Thank you Allan, see you in our next travel to diani 😊

Beautiful and large house, garden, and beach. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, in-house chef made delicious food, the beach was basically private and the owners communicated well with us. The location is fairly remote but even without our own transport, we were able to take a taxi to diani without a problem. The beach itself is fairly shallow so massive swims are not really an option but snorkeling works and it is still very beautiful. Would come here again any day. Thank you team!

The best place to be if you’re planning a trip to Diani. Lisa is a very friendly host, understanding and went an extra mile for us to get comfortable and a list of things to do in the area. Cave Diani is a walking distance to the beach. And there are so many things to do in the area. The swimming pool is a plus especially with the weather, we enjoyed cooling down in the pool and great views of the area.

Die Anlage ist wirklich ordentlich und sauber und man fühlt sich sehr sicher, wenn man innerhalb der Anlage ist. Die Menschen Vorort sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Paul (Taxifahrer/Transferfahrer) war super lieb! Es hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert und wenn man Fragen hatte, hat Frank sehr schnell reagiert.

We stayed at the Warm Sea Sand and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering direct access to the beach, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The manager, Rosa, who also doubled as the chef, was phenomenal. Her food was outstanding, matched only by her warm and welcoming attitude. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The only small suggestion I’d make is to swap the regular bathing soap for shower gels in the bathrooms, as they’d work better with the hard water. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The place was really spacious, neat and close to other amenities like supermarket, hospitals and the beaches. However, the security is a bit lacking. The security man kept asking us for money. And the gate is literally falling apart which makes it a bit unsafe. The compound is very shabby and dirty so it needs a bit of maintenance
