In summertime ride your bike down to the lake for a swim or bring a canoe with you to explore the bays & waterfalls the lake has to offer.

You can lie in bed and take in the panoramic views across beautiful kanamaluka/Tamar River to the hills beyond and the glittering lights of the city at night. Enjoy a local wine on the patio in summer or in front of the cosy wood fire in winter whilst watching for wallabies, cute little pademelons or our resident echidna. A lovely continental breakfast with homemade bakery items will set you up for a day of sight seeing.

Portsea Cottage

Our light-filled cottage is situated in a quiet street a short stroll to beaches, and local amenities. It is a 15 minute drive to the Devonport airport and a 5 minute drive to the local shopping precinct. Our peaceful cottage has two large bedrooms. Bedroom 1 contains a king size bed which can also be configured as twin singles upon request. Bedroom 2 contains a queen size bed. Detached from the house is a bungalow which also contains a queen size bed and has its own sitting area and toilet.

A stylish, sun-filled townhouse just minutes by car from the city centre. Stunning views of Launceston and the Tamar River can be seen through the treetops and in the distance forested mountain slopes. Across the road, a trail leads down through Cataract Gorge. Only 10 minutes from Sheffield (full amenities/dining), 45 minutes from Cradle Mountain, 1 hour from Launceston and 40 minutes from the Spirit of Tasmania. Relax on the private deck, pat our goats or explore nearby walking tracks, waterfalls, wineries, tasting trails, etc.
