Rowanlea Lodge is a unique post and beam traditional log cabin built with Scottish Douglas fir trees. Located on the border between Angus & Aberdeenshire with glorious countryside views towards the Cairn 'O' Mount. The perfect peaceful location to relax and unwind. Well behaved pets are welcome. The village pub is within walking distance serving delicious food and is also dog friendly. St Cyrus beach, Lunan Bay, The blue door walk at Edzell and Dunnottar Castle are a few of the places to visit.

Private and peaceful cabin with parking

The Wee Cabin is the perfect place for couples to unwind and switch off. With uninterrupted views to the Angus Glens stretching into the Cairngorm national park. The cabin is peaceful and secluded but we have the towns of Brechin, Kirriemuir and Forfar nearby and we are less than 3 miles from the A90 connecting you to Aberdeen in the north and Dundee in the south. Our house is next door, our dog may greet you when you arrive, however your garden is gated so Suzy won’t disturb you.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It is set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks straight from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the bothy has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons this may not be the place for you!
