Peaceful Farm House Escape, at Campbell Crossings

We had such a wonderful weekend. So close to the Sheep Rock Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds and we enjoyed an easy day trip to the Painted Hills as well. Great bird watching from the deck. If you’re looking for a quiet get away, this is the place. The home was well equipped with the essentials and the homeowner was quick to answer questions.

Erin's house is wonderful! It is comfortable and equipped with everything we needed (well-stocked kitchen, games, books, puzzles, wi-fi, Roku, tons of cozy blankets) plus several extra touches (super big bean bag chairs, Ghirardelli chocolates, teas, coffee, super plush bathroom towels). The location is perfect for visiting the Painted Hills. Tiger Town Brewery is delicious.

We were road weary and ready to do some relaxing. We drove up and our family was pleasantly surprised at our accommodations. Patti has a well stocked home and there is thoughtfulness and care it seems setting up their guests for a comfortable experience at her place. Farm fresh eggs? Snacks? Beverages?Above and beyond, beds were comfortable as were the couches, and we were bordering exhaustion from all the activities in the area, so it was nice to have a comfortable home base. Thank you again for everything.

Very comfortable place. Great spot for star gazing with very low ambient light in the area. Nice porches with plenty of furniture—both front and back porch. Very quiet at night. Great river views. Really enjoyed our 3 night stay while traveling to/from the various John Day Fossil Bed sites.

Off Grid Guest Cabin at Guyon Springs

We were very pleased with the scenic location and tranquil nature of the cabin provided and Kerri and her partner. The property was very spacious and we were given free rein to explore. Our dogs absolutely loved the place and, after meeting Kerri's dogs and their chickens and horses, I'm sure they were very disappointed to have to leave. While we did not give ourselves enough time to fully explore their little part of the world, the mountains, canyons, and rivers we were able to visit were as amazing as can be expected in that beautiful part of Oregon. The cabin was cozy and warm and had more amenities than we expected for such a rustic and "off-grid" location.

We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to spend at the cabin. It was very quiet and comfortable with a perfect temperature, even though it got down into the 30s overnight. The Malheur National Forest is only a short drive away, and we also were able to get up to the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest on our last full day. Would love to stay there again!

Stellar Cabin

I booked Jody and Dan's place for a birthday weekend getaway. What a great find it was! The location is amazing, and waking up the view of the "wedding cake" was an experience. Not to mention the incredible views of the sky at night. The cabin feels very private and everything you could need for a stay is provided. The host made sure the soaking tub was hot when we arrived, which was a great touch. Nature surrounds the cabin, I enjoyed seeing a variety of birds, including a bunch of quail (so cute), and hearing frogs near the small pond. There were clear instructions to get to the location - which are important because cell service was non-existent for me. All in all staying at stellar cabin provided a much needed respite from the city and I wouldn't hesitate to make the journey back out there.

This house was absolutely incredible. We were in town for my dad’s memorial service and it made the weekend so much easier. Watching the sunrises was our absolute favorite, so incredible. Thank you for offering such a beautiful place for our family to stay.

Blue Lagoon, Fish House Inn

Dayville, Oregon is almost the back of beyond given its remoteness, but we could not have had a nicer place to stay for the one night we were there. David, a very pleasant, likable host, greeted us upon arriving. The Fish House is on a beautiful and quiet property with green lawns and trees and wide-open views of the night sky. The Blue Lagoon is rustic on the outside but very comfortable, clean and well accommodated on the inside Including an air-filter which given that it is fire season in this dry wild corner of Oregon was unexpected and very thoughtful. Bed was really comfy. Everything in Dayville is walkable so we headed down to the Dayville Cafe and had a nice dinner. We recommend the pie which we had for breakfast. Should we find ourselves in Dayville again we will definitely return. Do not hesitate to stay at the Fish House. Thank you David and family.

Perfect spot to explore Blue Basin and surrounding nature areas. Host gave clear instructions to find. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, walls are thin.

I came for a event in the area, and I did not get the opportunity to enjoy the B&B as much as I would have liked. I plan on making Victorian B&B my destination in the near future. We've stayed here twice now. Clean and comfortable, great location for our activity, great support. A little expensive compared to other places around the area, but also nicer than those places. We'll be back.

Seaside , Fish House Inn

The charming Seaside room is an efficient use of limited space, and I found it cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was only shared with one other guest room (no access issues), and I was happy for the fluffy washcloths available under the sink. The coffee station in the hallway was a lifesaver! Also, the fridge and microwave on the deck were very useful for the breakfast items we’d packed, having planned for the cafe being closed on a Monday. This was a good place to stay, and the hosts are doing things right!

The Avonlea room at Victorian Lane B&B

Andrea’s B&B is by far better than that we would expected. The host are very friendly and informative. The place are clean, spacious and comfortable. The home decoration is stylish. Especially the breakfast which is fabulous. We are frequent travelers and have been to 34 countries and stay in many BNB , we would honestly grant Andrew’s one of the top.
