Harry's place was beautiful and so peaceful. The view of the lake was stunning from the porch and through the large windows and doors when we were inside the house. The house was spotless and so comfortable. While we were there for only a short trip and didn't get to enjoy the property for long, it was such a perfect home base for our crew. Harry was so wonderful in his responses and in his proactive communication. We also had a special request, and he was so kind to work with us. If we have the opportunity to return and need a place to stay again, we absolutely will try to book this place again!

I have spent the last 4 years traveling back and forth to Dahlonega. This Air BNB is hands down the best I stayed at in all the years. I wish I had found it sooner. I felt so safe the entire stay which speaks volumes when traveling. The home was clean, roomy, and perfect for our weekend. The location is excellent and just minutes to all the places. Matt the host is amazing and communicates great. If you are looking for somewhere to stay - HANDS down top pick. I will miss our years in Dahlonega. For all you new parents of University of North Georgia students - if you need an Air BNB - this is the one!

Amazing location and peaceful scenery! The house is nicer in person than in the pictures and extra bonus, there were plenty of games to play to include foosball,air hockey, and cornhole. Would definitely stay here again.

I took my teenage daughter and her friend for a 'girls' weekend' at the lake. Karen's place was absolutely perfect and she was an exceptional host. We did have a small issue with the AC, which Karen corrected immediately. She was very responsive, very friendly, and very accommodating. (Plus this AirBnb comes with a DOG!! Sam is the sweetest goodest boy). We would definitely return to Karen's place and highly recommend it.

We were in town for my son’s wedding at Swan Lake Overlook which was only an 8 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay at The Neighbors place. Clean, comfortable, fully furnished kitchen, comfortable beds and 2 full bathrooms was an added feature. The host was quick to respond and very helpful.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, the home was Cute and Cozy. Supplied with everything we needed and very clean!

There are super hosts and then there’s Chris. The house was great! The hot tub on the deck was a nightly endeavor. The game room was our place to chill with a great TV, ping pong table and a console arcade game with what seemed like 50+ choices. All that said what set this place on a level all by itself was the host…Chris!

The house was very comfortable and worked well for us. It met our every need. There was even a high chair and toddler boost seat! Hassan was very responsive to our calls and was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful quiet wooded setting. Ample room, love the 2 dining areas and porches. Steep paved driveway, but could navigate during the spring and room to turnaround at top. Towels were lush and mattresses were average. Electronics all worked and the house was well stocked with a welcome bag of snacks as well as toiletries. Imagine it would be lovely in the fall as well!

Brian and Katie's place was amazing. I took my fiancee, as a surprise for his birthday. The place was just as described. Very clean and cozy. The view is amazing. We would definitely go back, maybe with a couple of friends so they can experience what we did. Great place for a outdoorsy type of vacation.

We stayed at Jo Anna’s place in Big Canoe and absolutely loved it! The condo was beautiful, cozy, and exceptionally clean—and trust me, I’m very picky when it comes to where we stay. I booked last minute, and Jo Anna was incredibly accommodating, making everything smooth and easy from start to finish. The pictures online don’t do it justice—the place is much bigger and even more comfortable in person. The beds were super cozy, and everything was set up perfectly for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was my husband spotting a black bear while driving up the mountain—such an unforgettable moment! We also played golf and grabbed a bite at Duffer’s—my boys devoured the burgers and fries. Everyone we met in Big Canoe was so friendly; we truly didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Jo Anna, for sharing your lovely place with us. We definitely want to come back soon!

We loved the cabin! It was just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely bring a different vehicle next time, had a little bit of a hard time maneuvering on the mountain roads to get up to the cabin. Steep downhill and inclines. The place was nice with a great view of the mountain side and a nice flowing creek after some rain. We really enjoyed the indoor fireplace, the games for kids, and the views from the living room and primary bedroom. The kitchen was a bit bare in terms of dishes and kitchen utensils and some of the carpet showed that the place was pet friendly, but besides that it was a great stay for a large family.

The place was awesome! My boys 3 and 9 had so much fun in this house and exploring the nearby areas. The Eagles Rest trail was right next to the driveway and we enjoyed exploring those trails as well as some by the beach area at the front of the neighborhood. It is a bit of a scary drive to the top of the mountain where the house is located (takes 15 minutes). The gate allows you to get delivery service but we had to meet them at the front which kind of sucked. Highly recommend a Walmart Trip or getting everything you need before you arrive food wise (Host has everything else). I ordered a Walmart Delivery and the dude wouldn't unload my stuff because he couldn't get to his "pin" on the app lol that was kind of a disaster and I had to go shop myself after a really long drive. The Consolidated Gold Mine was an hour drive away and we'll worth the trip. House slide was rough but my kids still went down 1000's of times lol and we saw a ton of bears from our windows each day! Fun times!

The photos don't do it justice, it looks even better in person. It has a beautiful view of the woods, they have a lot of things there if you wanted to stay in the whole time and a great book put together to recommend things to go out to do too. The labels in the kitchen are great, you don't have to go hunting for anything you might need. I'll definitely stay there again if I'm back in the area. Thanks for such a great stay!

This cabin is amazing! It's beautiful inside and out. It was like spending the night at a museum or Elvis Presley's bedroom. There was a problem with our initial reservation but our host was more than gracious and, not only let us stay one night for free, but also gave us half-off a future stay. We can't wait to go back!

This place was GREAT for our long weekend! We could have stayed and never left the cabin and been just fine. The location is great. We ventured to Dahlonega and Helen during our stay. The cabin is funky and fun, lots of great touches to help you feel at home! My kiddo loved the bright colors, the board games, and the smores pack that greeted us. The drive way is a bumpy dirt road, but totally worth it- secluded and quiet just as described! We will definitely be back!

We were at Hidden Cove (David's place) for one night to decompress from a weekend "conference." The space was perfect. The patio area was a particular blessing - beautiful, comfortable, peaceful. When we left on Monday morning, I realized after about 15 minutes that I'd left my purse (!!) in the apartment. I texted David and we headed back. What a relief when we came up the drive and there was my purse and knitting bag waiting for me on the step. Whew!! David was there and we had a delightful chat before setting off down the road again. :-). Thank you, David.

We were in the area for a family wedding and took advantage of all the bed/baths. We had 3 different generations staying in the home and it was comfortable, with common area but also space to decompress. Back patio has a gorgeous few and the basement had a fun rec room. Comfortable, clean, inviting and enough space for 3 different families to settle in, share meals together and get ready for the family celebrations. The whole family said “great job” on the accommodations!

I was looking for a trip to get away and relax and this home was perfect. It was easy to find, just as described, cozy, and clean. While there are other treetoppers nearby, it still felt like a quiet, private getaway. I was a little nervous about mountain roads, but they were not terribly steep. The community offers a ton of amenities, and the cabin has an abundance of kitchen and bathroom supplies. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and mornings and evenings on the deck were so peaceful. Dave and Lorraine were proactive in reaching out to make sure everything was as expected. I'd gladly stay here again.

The views make this place incredible! The house is older and has mostly new furniture, linens, and is very well stocked. The kitchen and bathrooms reminded us of childhood in the 70s and 80s. I highly recommend this as an awesome and affordable getaway.

This beautiful home was a great location to have a girls weekend trip to wineries. Downtown Dahlonega and several wineries were all within minutes. Suited our party of 5 perfectly. The house is in a very peaceful location with a beautiful stream close by.
