Absolutely loved our 12 nights stay at this stunning Airbnb in Halifax! We came as a group of 10 for my brother’s wedding and the house was beyond perfect. The place is massive, clean, elegant, and super private—ideal for a big family gathering. The ground floor living area became our favorite hangout spot, giving us unforgettable family moments. With 5 spacious bedrooms and a driveway that easily fit over 10 cars, we never felt crowded even when we hosted a dinner with friends. The host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful. We had a minor issue with a shower, and they quickly sent over a video to guide us through, which was incredibly thoughtful. Also, when we reported a small accidental damage, the host graciously waived it. That kind of support is rare. Advice for future guests: If you're planning a trip with family or friends, this is hands-down the best place to stay in Halifax. Gorgeous views, amazing walking paths, and everything you need—restaurants, groceries nearby

This was our second extended stay at Francois's, and just like the first, his hospitality, the location, and the lovely property exceeded our expectations and made us feel right at home. Francois was a wonderful host, quick to communicate and extremely helpful. The home was spotless and well appointed and modern. The property is Serene and peaceful for anyone looking to get away from the city while avoiding a lengthy trip. Would highly recommend and hope to come back one day!

This was a perfect spot for a team retreat! There was great space to relax and work with wonderful amenities. The team loved cooking together and e we started day 2 with a quick drive to the beach for a walk. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Team members travelling in from Ontario and NB and metro found it easy to get to. We will absolutely be back next year!

Matthew’s place was the perfect location for us for a sports tournament weekend with our family. It was a relaxing and beautiful place to come back to at the end of the day. My teens enjoyed the video game systems on the big screen in the basement while my husband and I were able to watch a movie upstairs. We were able to make some small meals in the well equipped kitchen. The mattress in the master bedroom was the best I ever slept on. Matthew was very responsive when I had to reach out to him with a question. Thank you!

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

Jennifer is a SUPERB host. She was Sooo nice, always recommending things we could do to keep our family occupied, she’s a very pleasant person. We felt right at home in her spot, very clean clutter free and NOT to mention her going out the way putting up holiday decorations and a Christmas Tree for my 5 year old to enjoy her annual Canadian Christmas. It was like we had a fairy godmother always watching out for us. We appreciate that soo much.

Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

We loved the location central to going to Halifax and Mahone Bay and Lundenburg also for going to our next place. Clean neat and tidy great shower all the amenities you need for a short stay!!

We stayed for a week at Treena’s place in Lakeview while visiting relatives in nearby Bedford, NS. We found the accommodations very nicely furnished, clean, modern, and well-equipped. The kitchen is small but functional and has most equipment one would need. The situation is very private and quiet, and we were able to use the wood stove, firepit, and gas grill. We found enough supplies like coffee pods, paper products, and dishwasher detergent to easily get us through the week. There are some lovely walking trails in the area, which feels more remote than it really is, but keep in mind that a car is necessary to get around. We would definitely stay again next time we Visit Nova Scotia.

Thank you for being such lovely hosts! We immediately felt right at home. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful place to wake up to the snow. Thoughtful amenities, lots of space, comfortable places to eat, drink, read and watch Christmas movies. We didn't want to leave. So much generosity was extended to us due to the storm, and I look forward to returning! We very much were well taken care of.

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

Lovely area. Quiet and peaceful . Nice country getaway. Rental had everything you could ever need. Even had a bbq. Had a fire pit to sit around in evenings.

It was a special stay at Porters Peak! The surrounding nature was beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. A perfect place for outdoor lovers! We were lucky to have two sunny fall days and were even able to use the paddleboards at the lake. The site is still under development (for example there is no running water yet) which was totally okay for us because we love the minimalist off-grid style, but we found out through the comments of other visitors, not through the host. And it would be helpful to mention that a steep gravel road is leading to the cabins, so not possible with every car and every weather condition. It was nice that when we had a problem with the propane fireplace, someone came directly in the morning to fix it. Still a lovely place and a cool project! Would recommend and visit again!

Great little cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Quick 10 min drive to downtown for shops, restaurants, and more.

Had an awesome stay. Loved the location and amenities. Accommodations were great and the bed was super comfy. Cabins had everything you needed. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely return.

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

Took an impromptu trip to NS for the weekend and lucked out with a vacancy at the Lakeside Lookout cabin. Very quiet, peaceful and serene surroundings made our stay more than enjoyable, topped off with a clean and welcoming cabin. Interested to see all the other things that they will build and do with this property. Will return in the future for sure.
