This summer home is located at the head of Herring Cove; there is 48m of waterfront. Have fun exploring, roaming the rocks or kayaking the Cove of this private shore. We have a kayak for your pleasure. Enjoy the spectacular view from the hot tub or the spacious deck. Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This is a great spot for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Airport & downtown only 20 minute drive. *Guesthouse included with bookings of 9-10 people. Guesthouse may be booked separately, so check on availability.

Sit on the front deck equipped with a propane fireplace to enjoy the breath taking sunset, or make your way around back for a dip in the 6-person hot tub and listen to the ocean waves

Castle Bay Cottage

This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. We have created a charming and super comfortable retreat. We are sure our guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful vibe that this hidden little gem offers.

Surrounded by nature, this peaceful lakefront home just outside the city. Enjoy water recreation, sit by the campfire, or savour some relaxation in the hot tub. ( unfortunately closed this season from November-April) A paddle boat and kayaks are available for use. BYOB ( bring your our boat) Dock on property, boat launch access at nearby community centre. 1500 sq ft cozy home can comfortably sleep 10 people.
