Our home is over 100 years old located on a creek in the heart of Hatteras Village. Several shops, restaurants, and the beach are within walking and biking distance. You can even kayak or paddle board to some of the shops and restaurants or just paddle out to the Pamlico Sound. Wake up, have some coffee on the back deck overlooking the creek, and venture out for a day at the beach. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away, relax, and still feel right at home, this is your place.

The Cypress Moon Inn

The Cypress Moon Inn is on the Shore of The Albemarle Sound. The Guest Rooms are Waterfront with a spectacular view to the West over the water. We serve a Continental Breakfast and our guests may use our bicycles,kayaks, paddleboard and beach equipment. We are in a natural quiet safe setting with no immediate neighbors. The Inn is of quality construction and with substantial furnishings. The Inn is 1.5 miles from the beach. We are non smoking. We cannot accept young children or pets.

Cypress House Inn - Room 8 The Albemarle

The Albemarle is a king room at the back west corner of the house that overlooks the back lawn and garden area, with the Wright Brothers memorial peeking through the windows. Warm afternoon glows provide a great place to read or catch a lazy afternoon nap. Offers a King Size Bed. The upgraded bathroom with its turquoise upper walls and white bead board features a cottage-style decor with subway and glass tiled shower.

The Atlantic is a double-queen room with plenty of windows to enjoy the morning sunlight (or room-darkening shades if you want to sleep in). The remodeled bathroom has an over-sized walk-in tile shower with dual shower heads. The room captures the vintage feel of the B&B with its cypress walls and ceiling, but it is mixed with modern room and bathroom amenities.

Cypress House Inn - Room 6 The Pamlico

The Pamlico is a queen room located on the southeast front corner of the Cypress House. Grab your coffee and watch the morning sun as it rises from the east. Partial ocean views give you a glimpse of the ocean's mood for the day. Windows on two sides give way for a cross-breeze of the ocean air. Updated bathroom has an oversized tile shower.
