The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Hattie’s 1898 Homestead’

Whether you are here to experience the crane migration, the state or county fair, a national or local trap shoot, or to visit family, this comfortable home is the place to rest. Owned by the same family who homesteaded this farmland in the late 1800's, this home has been remodeled. It boasts all the modern conveniences, but with the farm charm. Bring the whole family to this inviting home with lots of room for fun! This quiet neighborhood is easily accessible to some of Grand Island's best amenities including a 10 min WALK to Fonner Park, a 14 min WALK to Island Oasis Water Park, and a 5 min drive to downtown shops and restaurants. There are two Fire TV's to watch your favorite streaming shows. Other amenities include a washer/dryer, a fenced in backyard for your pets, a BBQ grill, and one secure parking space in the attached garage.

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a smart TV (no TV service) that can be used for streaming if you want to use your phone’s hotspot.. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!!

The Cottage

Coziest place in town This is a tiny home tucked away in the heart of Aurora. within walking distance to our wonderful square in the center of town. This home is a perfect place for you to stay during your visit to Aurora. The house can sleep 4 individuals however it would best suited for 2 children and 2 adults if reaching the maximum of 4 individuals. Cozy Cabin on the River

This cozy cabin is located 5 minutes from downtown Kearney. It sits on the Platte River with an incredible view of the Nebraska sunrises and sunsets. It has a nice fishing lake stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. The fishing lake is directly outside the cabin. This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed, a double size bed and A/C.

The Red House

The Red House is located just past the business district on St. Paul’s main street, Howard Avenue. The Red House was recently renovated into a cozy little getaway that features historic details. The house is one story, so there are no stairs to climb, with easy access from the street or driveway.
